Fiddle Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Say, "He was wearing a black robe of sorts. A black or grey hoodie as well, when I last saw him, does that fit the description?" Quote
Mr Poltroon Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Explain that he is not the man you're looking for, but ask him about the thief as well. Quote
Fiddle Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Explain that he is not the man you're looking for, but ask him about the thief as well. Uh oh, what now? He has your weapons and armor, and you wouldn't want to fight him out in the open to begin with. Quote
crunchytaco Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Uh oh, what now? He has your weapons and armor, and you wouldn't want to fight him out in the open to begin with. (I feel like this thief could be talked to) Pretend to squash things. Offer to take him to the best brothel in town and attempt to steal his belongings (again) when he undresses there. *edit While my suggestion had the chance of being ingenious some voice just had to put us in a ridiculous situation Q_Q BTW I need to find some kind of elixir to stop that nagging voice in my head. *Make note to ask for psychotropics with the village witch doctor later.* Quote

crunchytaco Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 (DAMMIT!) *Find Kandra to borrow money and offer to explain things to her later* edit: *Make note to beat this guy black and blue later* Quote
Fiddle Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 (DAMMIT!) *Find Kandra to borrow money and offer to explain things to her later* edit: *Make note to beat this guy black and blue later* You tell the thief you'll go borrow money. You head to Kanra's pub and tell her you need money for a stay in the brothel. Quote
crunchytaco Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 You tell the thief you'll go borrow money. You head to Kanra's pub and tell her you need money for a stay in the brothel. *Start from the beginning. Casually throw out Kurosawa's name from that night. Avoid answering where you ran into him.* Me:...so that's the story. Do you have a better suggestion? (Come to think of it, you look better than those frightening hags at that brothel.) Quote
Mr Poltroon Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Taco's too fast. If that doesn't get us out of this mess you're to blame, dammit! Quote
crunchytaco Posted August 25, 2014 Posted August 25, 2014 Taco's too fast. If that doesn't get us out of this mess you're to blame, dammit! (I punch myself and remind my other voice: This is no time to run monologues!) Quote

Do you have a better suggestion? (Come to think of it, you look better than those frightening hags at that brothel.) For some reason, Kanra looks unfazed when you mention Kurosawa. You continue and finish the story. Come to think of it, Mikado is probably staying in this pub. Quote
solidbatman Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Or we could just ask the thief to borrow the money. Use his mole as blackmail. Quote
Fiddle Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 We must wait for one of these two aforementioned choices to be decided upon. Because I'm lazy Quote
babiker Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 I doubt a man who doesn't hesitate to strip naked actually cares about what others think about him. And a thief no less... Let's stick to Mikado for now Quote
Mr Poltroon Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 However, when has Mikado ever been helpful, ever? Quote
crunchytaco Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 Actually, I was wondering if I Mikado could turn this place into a brothel instead and lure the thief... Quote
Fiddle Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 eugh how do i even Actually, I was wondering if I Mikado could turn this place into a brothel instead and lure the thief... You find Mikado going over some tactics or some shizzle. You tell him the story, conveniently leaving out some of the more embarrassing points on your end. I doubt a man who doesn't hesitate to strip naked actually cares about what others think about him. And a thief no less... Let's stick to Mikado for now You give Mikado your other plan, and ask for the money. Come to think of it, you'd have to pay the geisha before the thief takes off his clothes and everything. Also, here's a collector's edition image of my attempt to make Mikado look down at the ground pensively. Maybe I'll use it if he's ever really disgusted at a particular thing at a particular point on the ground. Roach 1 Quote

Mr Poltroon Posted August 26, 2014 Posted August 26, 2014 That's what I get for eating. I formulate a plan in my head, but I'm too busy eating to type it down, so suddenly another voice goes and ruins my projects. I quit trying to be logical. Expect to see me stealing more thieves. Quote
