Question regarding CGs

Is it possible to save CGs on my computer or will it forever remain within the game?

I think there is a way to extract them but i'm not really sure on how to do that. You can also download the CG online if you want.

Either you extract them yourself in which case that thread may help you. This doesn't harm the game files.

 

Or you look for a CG set online. Which often is easier.

I just normally take screenshots of my game and save them myself instead of going through the hassle of searching for them.

Like Ceris mentioned you can press PrintScreen on your keyboard, then open Paint (or any other image editing software) and press CTRL + V.

I approve of puush, that's what I use to save screenshots, though puush's stuff in storage expires one month if not being accessed, but you can always just puush something then save the image.

That's what I do as well. Often I don't want the whole CG set, just one or two images. So this is the easiest method if you're not after the entire CG.

The only thing that this can do is eventually make the quality worser than it already is on your screen.

Finding a CG set online is super easy, you don't have to download everything and you have the best quality.

I would do that if my internet wasn't so crappy. My internet connection is really poor in my room (I usually have to bring my laptop to the living room to have fast internet). So using the print function is easiest for me.

Some people suggested paint, but I suggest taking screenshots with IrfanView since I find it less work to do and you can choose whether or not you want to include the program window in it which is p nice.

I checked out this website:http://cgv.blicky.net which resolution wise is no different than my printScreen capabilities. the only difference is probably how fast you can get them. I must say I was not aware of this website existence, thou the images are in JPEG which is at lower quality format than my usual manual PNG extractions.

Usually, CG set's are hosted on hentai websites and were - usually - directly extracted from the game.

And as you say, the quality isn't always worse, but often is in most cases when you take a screen shot.

 

And you are right, it also depends on how much time you have.

Konachan is a site that specializes (mostly) in erotic pictures; HQ CGs of most eroge included.

You can always look at the official site itself and otherwise you simply take screenshots. I use my PrintScreen button and save it on Paint as a .png file.
