Kimanor Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 I keep getting logged out of fuwanovel after about a minuite... It's getting awfully annoying, seeing as I am not doing anything. Just a precautionary, I am using Windows 7, Chrome browser (latest version), and my computer is up to snuff (video editing hardware, updates). Quote
Nosebleed Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Does this happen with any other website or just fuwa? Make sure cookies are enabled on Fuwa too. Quote
Kimanor Posted July 30, 2014 Author Posted July 30, 2014 (edited) This has not occurred on any other websites, and cookies should be enabled, as I never turned them off. This problem only just started today for me. They are indeed on for fuwanovel and the forums. Edited July 30, 2014 by Kimanor Quote
bl3u Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 You could try wiping your browsing history. That includes, cache, cookies, website data, autofill info, passwords. And basically enter all the site info manually again. Quote
Ceris Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 I started getting this issue on my phone recently. I don't get signed out every minute, but every time I visit the site I have to sign back in, which didn't use to happen. When I visit other sites, my logins stay, but here I have to sign in, yet my username and password are saved so I don't have to type them back in. Also doesn't happen to me on my computer. Quote
OriginalRen Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 Have you been closing your browser at all during the times it logs you out or is your computer going to a screensaver/falling asleep at any time during this? A lot of the times I have found that unless you check the "remember me" button, computer state changes will act as if you have closed your browser and therefore log you out due to "inactivity." It's the same kind of idea behind checking your bank account online. Most banking websites log you out due to security reasons. I started getting this issue on my phone recently. This is common. The reason for this is because everytime your phone goes to sleep and saves battery life, it acts as if you are refreshing the web pages when you start using it again and essentially "resets" you loading the mobile site. Just click the "remember me" button and it will keep you logged in, or should at least. Quote

Though, I was forced to leave mobile mode when I loaded up the site. I'm pretty sure it wasn't a problem with "remember me" not being checked, because before, it always kept me signed in, then for a week I got signed out multiple times a day, and today it seems to have gone away. Weird. Quote

However, even with the issue resolved, this did not happen until I had reset my password yesterday for the forums. Quote
