G-Senjou no Maou- I write this with tears in my eyes.

Over the past two weeks I have slowly been playing through G-Senjou no Maou. At first I had decided to go straight for Usami Haru's route, but I inevitably got side tracked. I ended up completing Miwa Tsubaki's route first, completely on a whim without any real reason. After that I started back on Haru's route, and when Chapter 2 came around I ended up completing Azai Kanon's route on a whim as well. Shiratori Mizuha's route followed hers in Chapter 3, still no real reason. And now as I write this, after completing Haru's route only a few minutes ago, I believe that this is without a doubt my favorite Visual Novel.

 

The ending to Haru's route, I'll avoid stating any specific details for those who have not finished it, made me actual stop playing, stare at my computer screen, and cry. I know there are maybe better Visual Novels out there, for all I know, but honestly it's pretty damn hard to make me seriously cry. Full recommendation for anyone who is thinking about playing this, it's completely worth the trouble of downloading it and getting it to work.

 

I'm pretty sure I need a tissue, so I'm just going to leave now.

I really loved the ending too, in fact I don't know anyone who doesn't liked it, unlike a large number of VN and even if G-Senjou has a lot of flaws before Usami's route everything is really mastered at the end, truly bluffing.

Im a bit more conservative about those things, the type of old guy wich says the things were better in his time, till today my favorites are phantom of inferno, tsukihime and muvluv alternative.

Great ending but I did like the other side heroines, mainly Kyousuke's internal debate in Tsubaki's route.

That whole thing about love and affection without expecting anything in return. I like that torrent of emotions that went against his ideals.

When I started learning vocab through songs, Close Your Eyes was the number one choice. The lyrics have an unusually strong connection to the story and I had tears rushing up pretty often at first. Recommend

Oh, Haru is making chocolates, is it Valentine? Maybe I can see them getting all lovey-dovey. Yeah, that would be really cute. x3 (emoticon for maximum carefree-ness)

That pretty much sum up my feeling.
