G-Senjou no Maou Black Borders

So...I started playing The Devil on G-String and when I press fullscreen, there are black borders on the side.

Anyone know how to solve this problem?

is that changing the resolution at 4:3? I'm using a laptop to read G-Senjou.

Hey Emiya, i think G-senjou is a 4:3 resolution game

they were just made that way back then, and even now they still do 4:3.

It says on vndb g-senjou was released in 2008? It is very rare to find a VN made in 2008 that isn't 4:3 ...

Yeah, I fixed my problem.

I had to change my resolution to 800 x 600 and the black borders were gone.

If you're still going to check this thread or for anyone else, go into krkrconf in the game folder. and go to the setting with -fsres written in english just scroll down through them. Change the setting to nearest and it should remove black borders from most setups, if not check the other settings and see if any works. I got it to work without borders on my 16:9 monitor at 1920x1080p.

You can tell they're a tad stretched. Although I didn't have any issue with them throughout the game, the art in general is quite good.

Thank you very much for that f-res tip. My program kept closing down every time I enabled fullscreen, but changing the res to nearest solved the problem perfectly.

Could you help me to make my game full screen without black borders? my krkrconf is in Japanese and I don't know which option to leave in full screen (G Senjou no maou)
