alfredo094 Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 So, I downloaded both VNs, and when I started them, both seemed to be fine, so I left them in my laptop for a little while. When I tried to launch them, both seemed fine... but when I had G-Senjou no Maou view switched to full-screen, the game crashed. It hasn't opened again since. Ever 17 doesn't seem to get to the start screen, it just plays the initial cutscene (although I already had a problem with this one with its installation process, it had asked me for a premium code or something). I have tried re-installing them several times, and have my unicode set to japanese. Quote
Satoshi Mochida Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 If you got Ever17 from this site, Fuwanovel, it should not require a premimum code. Fuwanovel's Ever17 requires no installation or whatsoever. You should be able to start up the game using: Ever17PC_us , which should be in the downloaded file. The same applies for G-Senjou No Maou, Fuwanovel's novel should not require any installation. The game should start when you use: gstring in the downloaded file What kind of Windows are you using? I've read several times that the visual novels don't funtion well on Windows 8, especially Ever17 is prone to this. Did you stop seeding the games after the download as well? Quote
alfredo094 Posted August 16, 2014 Author Posted August 16, 2014 I'm actually using a Mac, using an app that lets me run the files. it has worked just fine with other novels (Forest, Katawa Shoujo, and well... non-full screen G-Senjou no Maou) so it just seems weird to me that it wouldn't work in these two. And yes, the Ever 17 file runs, it just crashes after the initial cutscene Also, Ever 17 only prompted the code when I tried to install it, which then I found out was completely unnecessary. Quote
