I need a bit of help with a .xp3/.ks file

Dear users,

 

I'm trying to extract the scenario files of a .xp3 files. I tried, but I only get all the images, fonts, everything else except the text of the game itself.

It's all gibberish, tried with crage + tpm file, but nothing works.

most of the scripts are in the data.xp3

The .ks files are the correct Scenario files.

 

They are just encrypted (Or something like that).

 

It's possible you'll need to clean the ks files by decypting and writing a program to make the translation convienient for you. 

Or maybe not, it depends if I'm mistaken or not.

 

All I'm sure of is it won't be that simple and that you'll need a hacker to use these files.

The encryption can change (usually changes) game to game. Need the game name to see what encryption it uses.
