DRAMAtical Murder won't open!

So I just downloaded DMMD today because I was curious on the whole context of it and what not. Anyways, I followed all the instructions from this blog and everything worked fine at first.

 

It started up but it went straight to full screen and since I didn't expect it to open at full screen I quit the game. Well now whenever I try to open it there's a plain black window that will open for 2 seconds and close. 

 

I changed the local to Japanese but for some reason it's been switching from English to Japanese back and forth. 

 

I even viewed other forums relating to this topic and I can't get anything to work. 

 

By the way I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section. I'm new to this and I usually don't use forums so yeah.

I dont know if this helps at all but the same thing happened with me. I opened the game form the files it was downloaded from and it worked fine. After I placed the short cut on the screen it wouldnt open. After placing the icon back in the Dmmd folder it opened again, its weird but it worked for me. If that doesnt help then you might want install DirectX if you dont already have it. If nothing else works and you tired everthing you might have to re-install it, which I hope might not be the case.
