If my Heart Had Wings-Runtime Error

Last week, I played the game like normal. Today when I started it, I got a screen that says Runtime Error.

I had to go somewhere during the weekend and my brother used the computer in that time, so I don´t know if he changed something(and he won´t tell me either, because he´s that kind of guy).

I appreciate any help, to me losing this game is a no-go. Thanks in advance.

Check if you have the below applications in Program and Features: 

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x86 9.0.30729.4148

Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x86 9.0.30729.6161

Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 x86 Redistributable - 10.040239 

Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable (x86) - 11.0.60610 

 

If you have a 64bit system you'll need all of them + the x64 versions. 

 

If you're missing any of these download them from Microsoft and install. 

If this doesn't solve the problem I'd suggest to kick your brother ass. 

Also you can reinstall the game.

Fixed the issue, I had to run with Windows XP Service Pack 2 compatibility. Only problem is that it won´t take my save files(probably because they are from Win 7)

odd... I swapped saved files from XP to W7 and then W8... only XP was 32bit... probably the location is incorrect

Who knows. At least the game works, and since I´m at 0% I have a reason to play it again. Now I have to see what to do with the Yuzusoft games issue. Thanks dale for your help.
