For me, the reason I have it on the side is because having it on top or bottom makes the available screen (because I don't hide it) longer unlike when it's on the side where it somehow balances the widescreen. Kuu Posted June 6, 2013 Posted June 6, 2013 When you have 2 screens the taskbar being on the top/bottom looks weird unless you get a program to have it on both (its built into 8 to have on both screens if wanted). Other reason being you have more horizontal space than vertical, so use the horizontal space that would normally be blank anyway in most webpages. Quote
