JCQuiinn Posted August 28, 2014 Posted August 28, 2014 So, first of all, I'm running this on Windows 8, which I know the troubleshooting forum says shouldn't allow it to run, but it's been fine for several hours so far. However, once I hit a certain event in Sumika's route (Might be an event that happens every route, not sure, as this is my first playthrough) the game crashes hard. It appears to be an issue with a transition or some sort of special effect, as the background is sliding away. As soon as this transition starts, no matter what settings I have the game running with, it immediately freezes and crashes. My choices up till now have been following the walkthrough posted elsewhere on these forums for Sumika's route. The scene in particular is on day 10/28 at the amusement park with Sumika, right at the beginning of the Neo-Gezunder's show. The line that plays just before the crash is "Shut up, this is the good part." As soon as that's said the screen begins to play some sort of transition, freezes, and crashes. Any assistance in regards to this would be appreciated. While I'd like to find a solution to the crash, I'd also deeply appreciate it if someone was willing to provide a save from just after said event. Thankyou for your time and assistance. Quote
Beato Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Try to set all options to lowest quality and turn on all effects you can. If it still doesn't work go to the amusement park with another girl, as long as you don't choose Meiya you should still stay on Sumika's route. Quote
HappyCat Posted March 19, 2016 Posted March 19, 2016 This is necroposting, but there's another way and it lets you actually visit park with Sumika. I had to find it today since I had no saves to alter winner of cooking contest) Delete /Plugins/mlhookv2.rpo file. Game would be in Japanese now. Play through piece that previously crashed, then save a game. Now you can restore deleted file and continue the scene in English. Quote
