Clephas Posted September 1, 2014 Posted September 1, 2014 Yeah... Senshinkan, Bradyon Veda, and Zero Infinity are all about at the same level as Dies Irae for difficulty (though Bradyon Veda is so wordy it will fry most people on scientific terms within a few hours). Quote
Vokoca Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 I'm planning on reading Senshinkan, I even have the physical copy, but it just scares me away every single time. It took me quite some effort to get through Muramasa, and to think that's easy in comparison.... oh god. Well, I can't keep running away forever, but sheesh. Quote
SanadaShadow Posted September 2, 2014 Posted September 2, 2014 If you don't mind me asking, what's Muramasa about? Quote
Vokoca Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 To put it simply while spoiling as little as possible, it is about Kageaki Minato, a policeman following the trail of the mysterious massacres caused by someone (or something) dubbed the Silver Star. That's, at least, how the plot might look like at first, but just know there's much, much more to it than that. At its core, Muramasa focuses on the philosophy of good and evil, heroism, justice, revenge and plain murder itself; it offers a very realistic and bleak outlook on all of those within the finely crafted and interesting sci-fi/fantasy setting. It's an incredibly long VN, so it's pretty much impossible to sum it up in one paragraph... but the most important thing to remember is that this is not the story of a hero. Quote
SanadaShadow Posted September 4, 2014 Posted September 4, 2014 Shit. Now this is the sorta stuff I like. Quote
