Do you mean the holistic factor or the characterization of the heroine? Yup, I agree that you will fall in love with heroines when her role was played well.

However in this topic, we are asked what kind of character do you usually incline to? Or let me rephrase, what character type are you turned-on to? It's like asking if you're a opai person (big boob lover) or petanko person (flat chested lover)? I love flat chested girls!!!! XD

Well I got preferences of course. But that doesn't limit my view of any character. But if I should say one of my preferences it is white haired characters, most likely a Kuudere. But as IceD stated above. You need something more than that. You need a good story and something that moves your heart. It is so much more than just that.

You're dwelving into a dangerous territory, man. Fictional characters aren't supposed to become your love interests.

Haha don't worry, i mean love interests in a purely VN related way. I'm engaged at the moment.

I like every kind of personality that is original compared to the stereotypes to be honest ^^; I guess that would be someone with a mix of certain personalities. My favorite girl is smart, thinks for herself and doesn't let the main character fuck around with her too much (and also does not secretly want him to). Funny characters work too, but not too forced. I liked Haru in G-senjou a lot and Dlanor is pretty much my all-time favorite.

I can't really find my ultimate love in a VN, I like samurai: guys with pride, morals and katana's, but those usually turn out as otome stories...  It would probably be someone like Kiritsugu (I'm pretty much fucked though because he will basically abandon me for a stupid kid like shirou). He's emotionless to the outside world but not to the ones he really loves, looks pretty good, has amazing fighting skills and isn't whiny.

top 3

1) yandere : any female yandere is nice

2) teacher / office lady type: i like the older woman who's disillusioned and world weary.

3) the overly traditional yamato nadeshiko: wears traditional clothing often possibly has traditional Japanese interests and attitudes.
