Favourite Anime/Manga

Just wondering what everyones favourite anime/manga is and also please tell me why. I appreciate it

Gai-Rei Zero is my favourite anime. I love it due to the attachment to Yomi and consequently...

It pulled my heart strings in a different way than most stories I read and left me close to weeping.

 

The action was nice as well, which separated it from just pulling the heartstrings, like Clannad did. 

 

It is by no means the best anime, but it is certainly my favourite.

Death Note is by far my favorite manga.

 

The story itself is full of twists, turns, and action. 

 

It's the only manga I've read from beginning to end.

 

I've completed only two animes: Danganronpa and Evangelion.

 

I do not have a favorite, but probably that one is Death Note too.

DragonBall is my favourite anime.

 

Yes it has it's flaws but I still love it's humour, the fighting is epic, the characters are varied and have a lot of depth to them and it is just overall a fun anime. I like it a lot more then Dragon Ball Z.

I have a few that I feel have provided me the best experience for its genre. I'll have Gintama as my favorite overall, and my favorite anime/comedy. Steins;Gate will be my favorite thriller, and 2nd favorite overall. Clannad's my favorite drama, and my 3rd favorite overall.

And the pacing was quite bad in the first season of SAO (which didnt bother me too much), but in SAO 2 they are exactly following the light novels. A-1 Pictures nailed it this time

Hehe ,but even without reading the Light Novels you notice that the pacing is so much better than the first season

My favorite anime would have to be Itazura na Kiss.

It's the best romance I have seen so far. I just love the character personalities of the two main characters as well as how the relationship develops over time between the two.

My favorite anime is Steins;Gate

I really like the theme of the time travel and the consequences it can have on the world ^^

 

But not to far behind it there are Sword art Online and Death note (note the same types of anime ^^)

and my favourite manga, hum... I hesitate between jellyfish Princess and Bride Stories..

Favorite anime: Gintama,its just too hilarious and the comedy never gets old

 

and manga uh...no idea actually i read too many to name anything specific.....Kyou Kara Ore wa comes to mind with its comedy xD

SAO follow the light novels perfectly i will let you know. They just added some from side stories as well as Early and Late (or whatever its called). That said, i still find both the first and second seasons' pacing horrific.

My favourite anime is undoubtedly Welcome to the NHK (which is also my favourite light novel). What can I say? I relate to it and I hate that but at the same time I'm so happy that they made something which almost resonates as well with me as Dostoevsky's Notes from Underground.

 

As for manga... well. It's probably either Genshiken (I and II) or Yotsubato.

One of the better decisions in your life. Read NGNL or Psycome or something good like that. Stay away from SAO for the rest of your life.

I'm predicting that Holo and Kurisu will win this round. It'll be really interesting to see how close it gets between those two. And if Holo wins, I will watch Spice and Wolf on the spot. If not, I'll wait like I always do.
