DRAMAtical Murder won't open anymore

can anybody help me? i downloaded DRAMAtical Murder with the english patch awhile ago. i played through Koujaku's route, but i haven't had any free time to play it since then. today, i tried to open it, but it won't work. a black screen pops up for a second, but it closes immediately. i don't understand what happened. it was working fine before.

To me, it sounds like it might be an issue with the crack. Maybe replying it will help?

 

Here's a couple of solutions I pulled from other topics from users reporting to have the exact same problem:

 

I dont know if this helps at all but the same thing happened with me. I opened the game form the files it was downloaded from and it worked fine. After I placed the short cut on the screen it wouldnt open. After placing the icon back in the Dmmd folder it opened again, its weird but it worked for me. If that doesnt help then you might want install DirectX if you dont already have it. If nothing else works and you tired everthing you might have to re-install it, which I hope might not be the case. i uninstalled it and then reinstalled it before i tried posting on here, but just for the hell of it i tried twice more and i guess third times the charm because it's working now. i just hope it stays that way. thanks for responding.
