cowteats Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Hey there, I'm a translator and I'm looking for a hacker for Nekoneko Soft's Sanarara R, which seems to be using the Majiro engine. Please help me if you're interested to see this game get translated. Quote
Decay Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 There was a failed translation attempt several years ago. That project is super dead, but maybe you can get into contact with the hacker and have him share his tools or even directly assist you. He has a contact form on his website here: http://ebilpie.weebly.com/contact.html The site has been abandoned but maybe that will still get through to him. Quote
cowteats Posted September 12, 2014 Author Posted September 12, 2014 The old Sanarara uses the Nscripter engine while the renewal version uses the Majiro engine. But I guess I can still try my luck. Quote
cowteats Posted September 19, 2014 Author Posted September 19, 2014 Still looking for someone who's willing to help extract the scripts for this game. Quote
johnnysasaki Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 hope you get the help you need.I remember other people trying to translate but it never went anywhere. I have a morbid curiosity of checking this eroge because of these recognizable "widefaces" from Ume Aoki... Quote
cowteats Posted September 27, 2014 Author Posted September 27, 2014 I spent a day digging around the net and found tools to extract and insert scripts. It's using MajiroArc v3.000. I can probably start translation but I guess I'm looking for someone who knows simple scripting and also to take over this extract/insert chore. Image insertion is also still a question mark, and so is word wrapping. Quote
