springning Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 As the title said, what kind of game do you like best? I like role playing games. And you? Quote
SilverLi Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 RTS (World in Conflict), TBS (Total War), FPS (Battlefield), MOBA (Dota 2), simulation (Sim City), strategy (Civ 5), strategy (EU4) and yet again strategy (CK2). But I still enjoy other genres such as role playing (can't give an example) and adventures (Uncharted). Quote
Heizei_koukousei Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I used to like shooters and now I only play RPGs (but not MMOs) outside of VNs .hack//Infection through Quarentine Elder Scrolls, except ESO of course. I regret buying it for PS4, this also furthers my distaste for MMOs and many others but those 2 are the best Quote
Aniki Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Strategy. I enjoy seeing Carthage burn. Every man, woman, and child. SilverLi 1 Quote
Kosakyun Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Lewd games. I come to like any game with good artwork. Quote

Stray Cat Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 Story-driven is the key component. I would probably say Action RPGs like Tales and Kingdom Hearts but I like regular ones as well as long as they aren't overly technical. Quote
Katatsumuri Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 JRPGs and Strategy games are what I seem to be all about playing at the moment... Quote
Kosakyun Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I'm also okay with overbearing games as long as they have good story/lore. It's all that matters to me. Also cute girls. Quote
crunchytaco Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I don't really like games anymore. I used to play anything I could get my hands on when I was a toddler. I was about 4-6 years old when I started playing the Doom demo. The best time to play video games is during those years when you're most impressionable I'd say. You get the full experience. I thought Cyberdemons really existed on mars at the time. Quote
FruitsPunchSamurai Posted September 16, 2014 Posted September 16, 2014 I usually play any game if it interests me, whether it be a fps or an rpg. Quote
Tenkuru Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 I'm not much of a gamer. MonHun is pretty much the only series that I have really taken a liking to. Quote

CLuBLioN Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Open world games are the best springning 1 Quote
Eclipsed Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 My childhood consisted of classic console games like Super Mario, Pokemon, Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts Some online games (MMOs, MOBAs, etc.) I've played over the years include Runescape, Minecraft, Maplestory, Trickster, Aion, League of Legends. Once I got a good computer I played the big titles like Far Cry 3, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Witcher, Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, Battlefield, Tombraider. Oh and of course now I'm into visual novels If I had to pick a favorite genre though I'd probably choose Skyrim. There's just so much you can do in an open world RPG. Quote
hydro Posted September 17, 2014 Posted September 17, 2014 Sports/fighting/racing games for multiplayer and story driven games (mainly JRPG's, but I do play others) for single player. Never really gotten into shooters, strategy games or MMOs. Quote
Desert35 Posted September 20, 2014 Posted September 20, 2014 I'm a big RPG fan as well as action-adventure games Quote
krill Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 rpg, platformers, side-scroller, action, fighting games, basically anything i can spend hours and hours playing without requiring other people. im not very good at multi-player. i do like mmorpgs, and i trying to learn moba's with dota 2 but frankly anything i can play on my own for a long time seems the best choice for me. Cyrillej1 Posted September 21, 2014 Posted September 21, 2014 RPG games. I like fantasy/war type of setting, with lots of turmoil and serious storyline with lots of like-able or mysterious characters. Examples: Xenogears, Xenoblade, Fire Emblem: Sword of Seals, Suikoden 5, etc. Rpgs with tactical elements are one of my favorite types. Quote
