Mindblowing vn like Ever17?

Have played Ever17 and Never 17 on Pc,and 999, Virtue Last reward for the ds and 3ds and all these games blew my mind(Although I did get tired of having to repeat the chicken sandwich talk every playthroguht of ever17...) Anything else mindblowy I should read in my lifetime?

Let's see... Higurashi no Naku Koro ni, Umineko no Naku Koro ni, Sharin no Kuni Himawari no Shoujo, G-Senjou no Maou, Steins;Gate, Symphonic Rain and the Muv-Luv trilogy.

If you have played Ever17 and Never7 you might as well play Remember11 to finish off what you can play in English of the series.

You might also want to try out Swan Song, I though it was pretty mindblowing

Other novels of the infinity series are good. Symphonic rain was a mind blowing one. Little busters too. However the last one kind of expects you to figure bits and pieces of it by the end so it might not work for you. Good luck finding a novel.

Stein's Gate was pretty mindblowing imo, but again it's a matter of preference.

Mindblowing... there's anything Type-Moon for that, there's Symphonic Rain, there's Inganock and Utawarerumono is truuuuuuly mindblowing, in a way.

I'm guessing you mean "mind blowing" in terms of having a huge twist at the end that was hinted at, but you didn't see coming at all (since your examples included Ever17). In that case, I'll second two that have been brought up already, Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo, and Symphonic Rain.

Keep in mind that E17/999/VLR twists are "Eureka!.. HOLYSHITWHATTHEHELLOMG" moments. I love 999 and VLR especially.

 

Umineko, however, is a 3-meter (both in length and in diameter) tentacle completely surrounded with barbed wire 15 times and constantly rapes your mind and by the end of Episode 8 leaves it writhing in terror on the floor.

 

People love it.

I assume you are talking about clever plots? In this case you have to read Remember11, just know that the story is not complete so you won't get all the answers. However it is still wroth reading, it's from the same team who did Ever17...

I'll suggest Umineko as well. Higurashi also has some mind bending moments but the translation is garbage so wait for the retranslation.

Higurashi is great too, remember to get the ps2 graphics patch and the sound patch too.

Mindfucks are hard to find... but not that hard.  The only problem is that most of the ones made in recent years are based off of the series Ever17 is from or one of three other VNs (for the sake of your sanity, I won't name them).  As a result, after you've read at least one mindfuck of each type, it is ridiculously easy to predict what is going to happen in a general sense in the others.  After that, it gets hard to even tell that they are trying to trick you... 

 

My recommendations would be Natsukumo Yururu and Harumade, Kururu though.  Both are screwy enough that you'd probably fall in love with them... and maybe Tojita Sekai no Tori Colony, though it is mostly just absolutely hilarious (though it IS a mindfuck). 

 

Edit: Oh, and Sakura, Sakimashita, though you only get let onto the fact that there is a mindfuck in the last path.

I can't believe no one said anything about I/O. Don't expect anything on the level of Ever17 but it makes up for this with its sheer complexity. You'll probably have to read and reread it a few times and even then you won't get the whole picture.

 

If you know Japanese (or you can just wait for the translation to come out) 12Riven and Root Double are a must.

 

But if you expect the mindfucks then they aren't mindfucks, are they? Don't get caught up in this, just enjoy the stories for what they are you'll be on quite a journey.
