The game works fine on Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 over here. I played through some fight scenes, loaded, and saved just fine.

I'm pretty sure it's using ONScripter (or one of it's forks, probably Proportional ONScripter?) because it's the English localization project, and Higurashi's and probably Umineko's localization projects used it. Higurashi and Umineko used Nscripter which is closed source, and I believe ONScripter is a clone that English localization projects use. Kirikiri is some expansion/improvement? on NScripter or something.

Well as for Rose Gun Days, I am making this assumption because it has basically the same type of files in its install directory.
