Comyu Review

Not a bad review per say, but I'm going to rant for a bit and give some criticism if you don't mind.

 

I felt the video was lacking. It's just you talking really fast for 7 minutes. Yeah, I know it's a review so there's nothing wrong with that. If you're just looking to get your opinion out, that's fine I guess. But I prefer my reviews to be entertaining and funny. For example, gigguk who reviews anime. He also just talk really fast for a few minutes in his reviews, but he's really funny while at it. If humor is not your thing, that's fine too. Look at GRarkada (another anime reviewer). He's not trying to be funny, but I can still watch his 20 minute reviews. Instead of just talking as if he's reading off a list of pros and cons, it feels like he's actually talking to the audience. I don't really know how to properly explain this, but the main thing I found lacking in your review is that it didn't felt like you were talking about the game. Yes you are talking about Comyu, obviously. However, after watching the video I don't even know say, the character names and what they are like. Agree with this aside form the Gigguk part. Gigguk is a clown disguised as a reviewer. His criticisms are minimal and his primary purpose is to rise a laugh. Arkada on the other hand is an actual reviewer and for all my irrelevant criticisms of him, I must say he does his job quite well.

His older reviews are exceedingly well written and simultaneously provide necessary information for people not familiar with the work, but also goes a level deeper in analyzing a bit. However, his analytical critiques of writing and characters never spoils anything either. Its hard to explain but he has a great technique. His Kanon review is my favorite of his.

First of all you really need to slow down haha ^^; but I have to say your voice is suited for these things, I think I could listen to you for a long time just talking about stuff if you work a bit on your talking skills. As for the content, I could still use some more info about comyu (characters etc), but the point you're trying to make is clear. Good luck with these things and making new things in the future!
