Which Air translation would you recommend?

Title is pretty self explanatory.

Playing Air is sort of like a dream for me.

I read about the controversy regarding the two different translations and I can't decide on my own, which one I should try.

 

In your opinion, which one is preferable?

I'm not talking about which one is more complete, I'm willing to wait as long as it takes.

The Gao Gao version is better. Sheeta didnt do too well with their version.

Clannad - Tomoyo and Kyou's arcs.

Tomoyo After (separate VN from Clannad, but reading Tomoyo's arc in Clannad is required)

Angel Beats. I know this one will be really good. I didn't mention the others because of my own reasons.

Eh, right now the Sheeta and Gao Gao versions are about the same, maybe Sheeta's is a little worse. Gao Gao's version is just a beta and they're still going through QC passes to improve it, so maybe you should wait for the final Gao Gao version if you want a (hopefully) high quality experience. 

 

edit: A tragic side note: Gao Gao actually finished up the script and it's ready for release, but their hacker vanished and he's the only one with all of the tools necessary for creating the patch. He's been MIA for two months now.

Yeah, I was kinda wondering the same.

Yeah, I think I read something like that. In the end, I think if he doesn't reappear, they could probably find someone who can replace him though. There are enough guys fit in stuff like this. You just have to find someone who is interested.
