So I got to the part after the H-scene with Sumiko and then they started to talk about which wire to cut.

After that screen appeared, the screen turned black and the music changed turned into something that should be normal music, but had this really high pitch sound to it too. And then the screen turned into big pixels and crashed the game. I literally shat my pants as I was throwing away my headphones.

 

Was that supposed to happen? Did anyone else have this happen to them? I'm too scared to even open up the game anymore right now

I skiped the h-scene (seems like i lose something important) but that didn't happen did you downloaded the game in fuwanovel?

I played the prequel(s).  The early prequel stopped at 'good', but the most recent remake put it up higher.  Flat's bad habits were still present, though.

It's supposed to happen.The game auto explodes if you stare at the H-Scenes too much.

Leaving the bad joke aside (like always),can you specify more please?Like,if you downloaded the visual novel from Fuwanovel,or have your system set to Japanese (I seriously doubt that this is causing the problem,but it's worth a shot),or etc?

I'm currently playing it with system language set to Japanese,downloaded it from Fuwanovel and have the H-Scenes option turned on (it's off by default),and so far,I had no problems at all.

I had this happen myself, I believe it's something to do with ending1.mpg. I was able to dismiss the broken video and continue the game. Unfortunately the only way to see the video play, of course, was to watch it manually in a media player.

 

So it's not related to the ero content setting, but it is an affliction of the Fuwanovel version.

I patched the game myself, but I was unable to watch either of the credits videos without the game crashing- I had to skip through them entirely to continue. Which was painful in the case of the second chapter, as I had just read pretty much the entire second half of it without saving, and had to skip through all of it.

So I think it's a problem with the game/ patch in general, not just the Fuwa version.

I finished this a while ago and especially the ending of the 2nd episode really disappointed me. As I already knew there was not really going to be anything of a true or special ending. This however made me really wonder about Secret Game, the remake of Killer Queen. I heard the first ending wasn't good at all, but several people also told me it is the worst of them all. So I wondered if its even worth to read SG now.

 

Today the translator of KQ (and announced SG) tweeted this: 

"Since there seems to be many people confused about the following issue, I'll clarify it here.. No, Secret Game does not have any of Killer Queen's routes- KQ's routes are exclusive to KQ. SG has five routes of -new- content.. SG is a "remake" in the sense that it has the same setting and characters, but the scenarios are different.. That said, there are some scenes from KQ reused in SG, just with different contexts and details."

 

So, for people who somewhat enjoyed KQ but hoped for a better turn of events/ending/story, Secret Game will still be worth to check out so it seems.
