Hi there !

 

I'm Axel, a 23 yo artist who live in France near Paris ! I'm pretty new in the Visual Novel community but it's a media I really like.

I'm a comics drawer and before knowing VN exist I was making my own series of video comics who're close to Visual novel in a sens.

I really love the dimension that music, voices and SFX can give to motion comics, VN or audiobooks

I general I like action, adventure ,science-fiction and narrative entertainment.

 

To finish I'm also a indie game developer, I've release my first game in 2009 and lately my first VN that I will introduce in an other part of the forum ;)

If you like narrative entertainment then visual novels are perfect for you. Being an artist is hard and its even harder to get recognized but I hope to see your projects succeed. Indie games are fun but I'm excited to see your VN

And just in case you havent read thes vn's yet, here are some recommendations. And two personally recomended anime. (But that is just me blabbering on)

 

Fate/stay night is a must play. It is nothing like the anime thing that carries its name. (well we do now in the unlimited blade works adaption)

And we just have a new patch that has translated the realta nua version of the game. (wich is an all ages game so it does away with the H stuff and replaces it by something else)

Tsukihime Another must play, and no this one does not have a anime adaption.

Muv Luv series, now Muv Luv extra is not that good and Unlimited is merely good but alternative is definitly a must read and to understand it completely you need to have read these two first.

(I so hope muv luv alternative get's an anime adaption at some point)

g senjou maou Is also a must read.

Hey,

Thank you all for this warm welcome ! 

Ah ah the VN I've made, you will laugh x) I didn't finish all of them but here's the list

- Yukuri Panic Escalation an eroge a VN lover friend give me (this how I discover VNs~)
- I've tryied Katawa Shoujo but not very far
- Miko Gakkou Monogatari – Sanae Episode (on Vita)

- I've try Juniper's Knot and the first episode of Dysfunctional Systems from Dischan
- Xblaze from Arc System Work (demo, I'll will buy it on Vita //I'm an handle lover)
- Last Virtues
- Lighthouse from Starship Palindrom 
- The Walking Dead Season 1 on Vita too, I consider them as VN

 

The next I plan to read is as recommanded, Stein;Gate who looks awesome, Danganronpa and probably some Personas.

I will look at your recommandations too, as I didn't know a lot of VNs for now !

@ Havoc, Thanks for the list I've didn't see it the first time ! I'll check that :)

@ Jibril, lol there is a lot of artist in Paris (and a lot much better than me~~), so not a dream but I have no complaint about it :P
