ThatPlayer Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Sounds in this are in mp3. So Internet Explorer and iPad Safari both work too. Quote
Andregate Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 Wow, more and more online VN. Even in beta, still awesome. What is 'stop' and 'stack trace' button for? Quote
Guest Posted February 16, 2013 Posted February 16, 2013 i should do a post to round up all the browser-based VN and VN engines... but will be lots of work... ill do it when i feel like bludging translation Quote
ThatPlayer Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Just like I should work on my thing more. Probably just going to make it look prettier tomorrow EDIT:S So I looked into the code more and it seems that this isn't using HTML5 canvas, it's just DOM manipulation. The guy who made this said he was going to migrate to HTML5 canvas and it doesn't look like he did. Quote

MS had a DHTML demo with IE4 back in the 90s that already had a lot of the features necessary to make an in-browser VN. Displaying mostly static images and text, and playing some audio, has been within browser capabilities for over a decade. Quote
