I think I never really watched the endings, I was always more into the openings. Gotta admit that I was a bit happy when they chose to cut the endings to have a few minutes more of the anime itself.

Little Garden is really good, isn't it? I really loved Dorry and Brogy, not only the characters themselves but learning a bit about the giants from Elbaf and their honor, love for fights and traditions was really interesting.

It was pretty enjoyable. Dorry and Brogy's laughs really got me.

Finished Drum Island arc this morning. Another one I liked. The Hiluluk stuff was the first time I found the series particularly touching, maybe with the Bell-mere stuff withstanding. I'm liking how a lot of the main antagonists so far don't actually pose that large of a threat to Luffy. It has a different feel from the other shonen I've seen.

Really excited to get into the Alabasta arc, but alas I've got a paper to write.

One Piece got many unique laughs and they're really entertaining. Hiruluk is amazing, he's one of the most remarkable characters until now, and I believe he's still the absolute fan-favorite, even after so many years and incredible characters passed.

I can think of a lot of people I'd place over Hiruluk but that may just be me.

Also nohman, if you like this just wait until you get to Water 7.

I say that based on my experience with the fanbase, some random popularity pools and stuff like that, so it's different for everyone.

Okay, so I'm at episode 121 in the Alabasta arc.

It did a pretty good job at setting up the stakes and scale of the entire thing. They did a really good job at making Crocodile detestable. It's just too bad it seems no one stays dead in this show, it'd really add a little more emotional impact to this whole thing.

Heheheh... ^_^

Anyway, I just finished episode 533, looks like something is finally starting to happen in this arc.

You'll be surprised. rofl

I started watching One Piece 3 years ago I think. Catched up on it a couple of months later and I totally love it. I have watched every filler (although I didn't really noticed the fillers, glaring at you Naruto (no hate)).

A great anime and overall one of the most interesting ideas/settings for an anime I have watched. My personal favorite arc is Marineford. But I think the Pirate Alliance arc is going to triumph it in the end. But they are so close to the manga which results in a slow paced anime. One Piece isn't meant to be slow.

One of my personal anime favorites even though it is a bit cliche sometimes. Yes I want to read the manga but you know, spare time isn't unlimited and I already got a schedule for anime.

Reading the manga is usually faster than watching the anime, even more since the pacing is slow right now. I wonder why they simply went straight for Dressrosa instead of having a filler. One Piece got lots of possible stories in the cover pages, they could very well have used them like they did in the past.

Finished episode 534; just realized the main villain is voiced by Joji Nakata, maybe this arc won't be as much of a chore to watch after all.

One other thing, gotta love how in One Piece a guy can take more arrows than Boromir and the survival rate is still 99.9%

Yeah I know. But it is a pretty good feeling when you went to bed you watch some anime before you fall asleep on my TV. I can't do that in bed with a manga.

On that note, I find it harder to fall asleep halfway through an anime than halfway through a manga.

I can't really fall asleep while reading manga, since I don't read while lying. Well, I don't really watch anime that much, I usually rather go for the manga if possible or only watch small ones, from 13 to 24 episodes usually.

I guess I'll be changing the poll biweekly, so next week I'll take out the one related to the akuma no mis and get a new one. Not sure what to do about the favorite saga one, I think I'll leave it there permanently.

For those who are up to date with the anime or at least already got to the time-skip, here's a really awesome video, just found it randomly in the youtube and it's a shame it only got 2k views.

On topic of youtube videos, someone uploaded the

Luffy first scene with Sabo in post time skip.

And now it has around 1.5 million views in a mere 5 weeks. Probably the most viral one piece-related youtube video ever.

Just wrapped up Alabasta. I liked it quite a bit and I was sad to see Vivi go, but it wasn't unexpected. Would've been out of character if she abandoned her country after fighting so hard to save it after all.

On another note,

Alabasta Arc Spoiler:

Pell completely "Dark Knight Rises" that shit, complete with inexplicably surviving a bomb meant to kill a million people. So like, no characters died during the entirety of the conflict, which is my only complaint I think.

Now, I've got to decide if I'm going to watch any of the next three filler arcs that follow it.

I enjoyed the Post-Alabasta Arc, it had a few nice little stories, but feel free to skip Goat Island and Ruluka Island.

The big filler I most enjoyed (and didn't even feel like filler) was G-8 and Lovely Land.   I also liked the Boss Luffy Historical Specials but just because I found them interesting.

The small clean-up episodes in or at the end of an Arc I usually thought were worth watching too (such as Post Alabasta or the one's shoved in Lougetown).

Finished episode 538, it looks like the next episode is the start of the flashbacks. Hopefully this arc is finally going to get interesting as so far it's only been bits of it that I liked such as

meeting Tom's brother, this poneglyph Robin's looking for and Zoro's fight with Hody had a good start (wish the fight had been longer)

Not sure why I'm putting this on spoilers, but anyway

Well, Hody was never in Zoro's tier anyway, rofl.
