Anime and manga Recommendations

Greetings Earthlings

 

My four month long holidays have started and I think this would be a good opportunity to catch up on some anime and manga. I didn't grow up in an otaku environment and none of my friends were really into it either, so I haven't seen much anime or read much manga.

In terms of preferences I guess I like action and comedy, so stuff along the lines of Full Metal Alchemist and Dragon Ball would be cool, though I am open to other options. keep in mind I have also seen Naruto, Attack on Titan and Death Note.

 

What anime and manga can you beautiful people recommend for me?

 

Also, I don't care if it has subtitles or a full english dub.

Kara no Kyoukai (7 movies, OVA, remix episode, and a new movie - dark fantasy, plot depth, non-chronological, disturbing scenes)

Eve no Jikan (movie, totally robotic and dramatic)

Patema Inverted (gravity pulling two sides ... is cool)

5 Centimeters Per Second (realism plot at its best)

Hal (movie, futuristic)

Mardock Scramble (3 long movies in sequence - dark fantasy, gore, disturbing scenes, action)

Macross Frontier movies (2 movies, the TV series is alright but not as good)

No Game No Life (get Coalgirl's BD releases for uncensored scenes)

Bungaku Shoujo (movies, ova, use AniDB to see what's what)

Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru (just watch the first ten minutes)

White Album II (Coalgirl's releases is pretty good)

Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon (2 seasons, enjoy the nice animation and lovely girls in the best anatomy drawing)

So basic shonen stuff :

Manga or anime : Bleach, One piece, Fairy tail, Air gear, Eyeshield21, D-gray man, Soul eater.

Manga : Rave.

Anime: Sword art Online, Fullmetal Alchemist (Non brotherhood), Angel beats.

 

I've read/seen all of them and they are all good shonens.

darker than black s1 and s2

Those 2 are a must watch IMO

 

and recently i enjoyed some of animes so i`m just gonna drop those too

Buddy complex; a pretty decent mecha anime with a good plot twist

Love Stage; a pretty funny Rom-Com oh...its yaoi

captain earth; a good mecha anime with some cliches but enjoyable till the end.

Mahouka;awesome story and main char, we need protag like Tatsuya in other animes.

For manga i mostly read Shoujo mangas and i think its that interesting for u.

I would say start off with One piece till I realise that it isn't a start. It is a finish and see you in a couple of years.
