Le fruit de la Grisaia font issues.

Well, i'll just skip right to the point. After having seen the first few episodes of this VN's anime, I decided to just go right to the source and play the actual game. It runs fine, and the only issue I really have is the font. 

 

Certain letters overlap each other, even though I have the GrisaiaCustom font installed. (I installed/uninstalled it multiple times. I've been trying to fix this since yesterday)

From what I can tell, the only letters what have spacing/overlapping issues are the letters i, l, and j. It seems to only be the lowercase, but I could be wrong.

 

I've tried the following:

Re-installing the font. 

Re-installing the English patch.

Removing the font.

Switching to JP Local. (This outright breaks the game. Instead of starting, I simply get an error message, so I haven't been able to see if it actually fixes the text issues. When I tried to install the game again while in JP Local, I got an error message at 98% that was unreadable as it was stuck behind the installation bar.) 

Changing resolutions.

Changing settings. 

 

All to no avail. I think the issue seems to be that the game is simply not recognizing/utilizing the custom font. Is there anyway that I can force it to use the font that it's supposed to?
