And this is still the most secure place in Egypt, right?

YUP IT'S SO FRUSTRATING

In other news, my parents were panicking at like 6 am because everyone heard a giant explosion , it was actually a terrorist attack but this time the explosion was too strong. Move along , move along.....

If I don't come to fuwa for two weeks, know that I have been killed by a terrorist attack or during a dispute in my street :sachi:

Confession: I just bought a 20x80 binoculars. I blame Hoshimemo and any astronomy/stargazing-related VNs for this <_<

Now, where is the ISS...

I'm playing this right now, and Asuho makes trying to look at small blurry lights sound so interesting...telescopes are expensive uuuuu...:yumiko:

Binoculars for amateur stargazers are about $100-200, if you can afford. (some even much cheaper, with lower quality of course)

Telescopes just way too expensive and inconvenient due to its weight...

Well the ISS orbits earth every 90 seconds, so at best you would be able to see it for about 35 seconds anyway.  If you really want to try your luck, you can attempt to track it via this.

Confession: I think looking at stars is a silly thing to do, especially considering watching humans act like ants on the ground is far more enlightening.

No, the ISS's orbital period is approximately 90 minutes, not 90 seconds. Your odds of seeing it are not bad if you use one of those tracking websites.

I'm actually watching this right now. According to them, it should be visible in my place for 6 mins.

And it's a binoculars I bought, not telescope, so, yeah, it can be used to spy the neighbor girl as well :makina:

I'm actually not so sure about that. There's been numerous claims that Japanese isn't taught that well in western universities. I hear that they even start teaching you words before touching grammar (which is not a good idea). There might be some exceptions (I'd hate to think all universities are bad), but it seems like online resources would be your best bet for learning the language.

College classes are slow. Highschool are even slower. That's my impression from experience and hearsay. I only took one class of japanese (elementary college 102) and that was quite slow. They make you perfectly translate lots of sentences and so lots of time are wasted on the nitty-gritty instead of just learning the gist and moving on. Also, speaking practice don't really work =/.

I took Japanese classes in highschool and it wasn't slow for me :P (Maybe because there only was 4 of us who attended the class xd.)

I learned a lot from those classes. We were taught grammar and then we had to make sentences where we used that new grammar by ourselves (using dictionary most of the time because we didn't know too much vocab) and say it out loud and the teacher would fix it. We were also told about the Japanese culture pretty much. We also had a Japanese guy there half of the time helping with the classes.

But then again I don't know what you mean by slow :P or we here might be lucky.

Confession: I've never seen Flutterz offline until right now.

My guess is that might have something to do with my notifications script which checks every 30 seconds, potentially causing Fuwanovel to think I'm online. Also I almost never turn my PC off and, coincidentally, last night while I was asleep it crashed. :P

Flutterz, don't you know that magicians aren't supposed to explain their tricks?  :amane:

I almost always close Fuwa whenever I'm not physically using my computer.  I'm paranoid about someone from my family looking at it

I'm not a wizard magician yet though :P

You don't even turn it off when you go to sleep? Does it take one hour or more to start it or something?

No, I'm just extremely lazy. Why go spend precious seconds turning it off if I'm just going to have to spend precious seconds turning it back on again?
