Kosakyun Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 The English language. I love getting swamped in pages and articles about phonetics, dialectual differences, grammar, etymology, etc. It's all just so fascinating! I'd be very happy to teach it in Japan for the rest of my life, for sure! ^^ Oh yes. I really like reading about those things as well! However, vocabulary's my weak point. It doesn't do my love for the language bad though. I'm not that good at the language yet, however. Or that's just me. Quote
Totodile Posted January 4, 2015 Posted January 4, 2015 Hmm, the only thing my wife is second to is probably my obsession over Mechanical Engineering. The Automotive industry will always be my first and foremost love. Quote
EldritchCherub Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 Stumbled upon this strange article about a woman who married a bridge which I thought fit very nicely within the confines of this thread. Just when I thought I'd seen it all. I have a feeling the waters under this bridge will get very troubled over the years... http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2356774/Australian-woman-Jodi-Rose-marries-bridge-France--gets-mayors-blessing.html Quote
LinovaA Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I love languages in general myself. Everything about the concept and application of language fascinates me, hence why I am currently taking a bunch of Linguistics courses at my University. One of my goals in life is to become a polyglot, with at least five different languages under my belt. Quote
Chewy Posted January 13, 2015 Posted January 13, 2015 I think everyone will agree that this is a nice a passionate story about liking places. Quote
