A Call to Arms: looking for help setting up a guild in Tera for Fuwans

First things first, for those who do not know what tera is here is a brief explanation. tera is a korean mmo/arpg with amazing environments and monsters in the later levels, and the combat system is very well polished. my base goal is to set up community of fuwqans who play tera and are in the same guild within the game(new players welcome). What I'm looking for are members to be active participants in the guild and also to help me come up with a guild name. my end goal in undertaking this project is to create a sub-community within fuwanovel that would accomplish these 4 things: create a enjoyable community for those fuwans who wish to play a mmo/arpg with their fuwan friends, create another gaming community within fuwanovel, create a beneficial environment for those who interact with said community, and find something to sink my free time into. I tried this game out after seeing the last thread, and I found it interesting. Only level 10 though.

I'm going to test out the waters right now. I haven't played an MMO since WoW.

 

I can't believe I'm downloading 32GB worth of a file right now and it's going to take me about 24 hours to do so. Have games really gotten this massive?

 

 

If possible, I'd rather just buy it. But I figured I'd still have to apply the massive patches for it. Here's something interesting I found while looking to buy a physical copy.

I wrote this as a reply to a one star review but felt that it could be helpful out in the open. This is not a review per say, but some good info to somebody considering a purchase. Basically, why should I buy this game if it is going F2P? .... oh, if you must know my opinion of the game, it is grindy (very fetch quest heavy) but the combat is awesome (no tab targeting). I give it a solid 4 out of 5.

If you buy the game ($9.99 digital version from Amazon / $19.99 digital version directly from EnMasse / $19.99 box version from retailers) your account will have "Founder" status. Here are the differences:

FOUNDER vs F2P
- 8 character slots per server vs 2 - You may BUY more if you are not a Founder
- 4 bank tabs instead of 1 (288 vs 72) - You may BUY more if you are not a Founder
- Founder status mount (Exclusive Terminus Mount) - Not purchaseable
- Unlimited sending gold in game mail vs 10 gold cap per message
- Auction House (Broker) simultaneous postings 30 vs 10
- In game "Founder" Title - if that matters to you
IF YOU BUY ALL THE "PURCHASEABLES" ON A F2P ACCOUNT, EXPECT TO PAY $$$$$ (projected up in the area between $50-100, if not more. How else are they going to make money from a F2P subscriber?) ....Heck, the ELITE status (people who join the F2P community, never buying the game, and decides to pay $14.99 a month for Elite exclusive perks) don't even get character slots and bank inventory perks!!) $19.99 doesn't sound so bad now, huh?

I started a Lancer yesterday on the server but was late at night so didn't try and contact you, will do so today if I can. are you guys mostly just pvpers? as I'm not so much into that stuff.

I don't like pvp too but I give it a try because we are in fact playing on pvp server

It would be funny if there was a role playing server, and fuwa's all joined to make a movie.

@tsuruchinite remember as there are fuwan's from different timezones so what might be late for you could be a midday for me so keep that in mind and please get in contact. and no i don't enjoy pvp much only reason we are on a pvp server is so those who enjoy pvp can participate in it while still being able to join the guild. btw what is your in game name?

@crunchytaco there used to be one but since no one actually role-played on it they replaced it with a pve server

iam a dude that did quite a lot of pvp arena.

here's the thing as a healer you cant do much since you will get insta focused by lancers and warriors and whatnot.

all we can do is run away and try and keep ourself/the lancer we're following alive.
