Definitely watch Nichijou, it's outstanding.   Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun is also outstanding.  Baka and Test is another good one. 

 

You can also spend half and hour and watch Plastic Nee-san.

Kaichou wa maid-sama, Love Hina and The World God Only Knows. Comedic school animes with romance.

 

I recommend To aru Kakaku no Railgun/Majutsu no Index too. They aren't that comedic but with sci-fi/action elements. If I recall they are a bit comedic but more serious later on. Too good to skip. I'm going to rewatch them next year because they are awesome.

 

Well we got Infinite Stratos too if you like a dense wimp.
