Problem with fullscreen VNs

I just started playing I/O and switched it to full screen view. The program then minimized itself and wouldn't come back up until I "alt+tab"ed it. However, when I alt tabbed out of it to look something up, it wouldn't come back up, even using alt tab. I shut the program down, and opened it back up but now even alt tab won't work. 

 

I vaguely remember having this problem for Kamidori, although I don't remember doing anything to fix it. It just started working most of the time.

 

Anyone know how to fix this?
