RinXD Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 I still feel like the summer sale has better deals then the winter sale Quote
madvanced Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 Right now, Shadow Warrior, 90% off, $3.99. If you don't buy it, you may want to get your brain checked out. Quote
nohman Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 The only thing I've purchased so far is Valkyria Chronicles and World End Economica. I usually go a little crazy during these sales, but I've avoided doing that year by just not opening up the steam client. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bUo1PgKksgw Stray Cat and Funyarinpa 2 Quote
SilverLi Posted December 22, 2014 Author Posted December 22, 2014 The only thing I've purchased so far is Valkyria Chronicles and World End Economica. I usually go a little crazy during these sales, but I've avoided doing that year by just not opening up the steam client. Yeah I bought Valkyria too with the 25% off. Pretty good when they released the game last month (on PC/Steam). I'm loving it so far. Today's deal were bad sadly. But just keep lurking and voting on what I want and something golden may show up. I seriously need a new HDD or a wireless server. I have to delete things to install or download new things. Quote
RinXD Posted December 22, 2014 Posted December 22, 2014 WAS if you can afford it or 1 TB portable drives are pretty cheap right now Quote
SilverLi Posted December 23, 2014 Author Posted December 23, 2014 Dynasty Warrior 8 66% off anyone? Already own it. But I must plug in a controller or I can't play the game. The controls without a controller are horrible. Quote
Stray Cat Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 So far I've purchased Goat Simulator and 100% Orange Juice. Quote
EldritchCherub Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 I've gotten The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky and Valkyria Chronicles. I missed Metro: Last Light just a few days ago when it went 50% off, hopefully it drops again before the sale ends in a week or so. Quote
Ram_Ram_A Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Just got terraria. I'll probably get 100% orange juice later. Quote
RinXD Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 This sale has pretty much sucked this time around i usually drop 200 on games but nothings caught my eye except the total war series Quote
naki2 Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 I'm agree with RinXD I think that the summer sale was much better than winter sale.... I have not seen anything I like.... Quote
Funyarinpa Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 I got Hammerwatch and State Of Decay. I'll buy Portal Bundle (and possibly Bioshock 1+2) for a friend for his birthday (Jan 1st). Quote
nohman Posted December 27, 2014 Posted December 27, 2014 Has anyone played The Long Dark? It's half off during the sale and it looks pretty rad. Quote
Ezeefreak Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Bought Plague Inc. Evolved and Democrazy 3 ... They have almost the same goal -> Wipe out humanity Quote
SilverLi Posted December 30, 2014 Author Posted December 30, 2014 Someone wanted Arma 3. 50% sale now. You wont get it cheaper. FF7 on sale too for 50% off. Quote
Ariurotl Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Endless Legend is at -50% again today. GOTY in my book (and it's on quite a few critics' top 10s of 2014 too), every 4X player owes it to himself to at least try it imo. (DISCLAIMER: Amplitude Studios don't pay me for hyping it everywhere I go. I wish they did though!) SilverLi 1 Quote

kyrt Posted January 1, 2015 Posted January 1, 2015 Well through this entire steam sale I picked up or received via gifts Metal Gear Ground Zeroes Euro Truck Simulator 2 Overlord Complete Pack Eyri's Action Game Dev Tycoon Democracy 3 Skullgirls Vanguard Princess (gift) Legend of Heroes Trail in the Sky Goat Simulator (gift) Endless Legend Orion Prelude (gift) Omerta city of gangsters gold (gift) Hate Plus Final Fantasy VIII (gift) Lego Batman 2 (gift) One Way Heroics (gift) I will note that this was one of the worst steam sales in a long time. I think it probably has something to do with companies no longer having to go through the middle man of steam to change prices. I bought a few games that I normally would have waited on simply because I expected to spend a bit more and had a bit of extra cash to burn...probably what they intended. edit: because the steam sale was so bad I actually bought little witch romanesque, Ef Hardcopy Collection, Chou Degenki Stryker, and put a pre-order down for Eden*Plus Mosaic...I only go spend happy twice a year summer sale and winter sale. I went quite spend happy since I didn't buy much during the summer sale and decided to make it up. Quote
