FuwaChat is live. 

 

Chat mods include:

• All global mods (blanket permission)
• Aniki
• GetterEmperor
• Kurisu-Chan
• Keaton

 

 

Rules:

1. Be respectful or else you lose FuwaChat access
2. ALL media (pictures, video, sound, etc.) must be in spoiler tags
3. No porn, no hentai (no nipples, genitals, sex acts)
4. Party hard

Fixed links and auto-caps.

 

The text size is kinda relative. Speak up if you want it larger (not sure how that would be done, but I'll look into it), but atm that's not a high priority.

Please put videos in a spoiler tag as well (since they embed automatically this is really required)

Modified top banner to make it clear: all media must be in spoiler tags. If you repeatedly ignore this, you'll lose FuwaChat access.

Is it possible on a coding level to add an auto spoiler tag to media posts?

 

Edit: A "top shouters" would be cool, considering we have a "top shouter" thing on the bottom.

 

Also, some random basic rules, like no spamming hard to read colored fonts in chat, along with oversized fonts in chat.

Isn't Fuwachat, Teamspeak and Skype pretty mixed together? My feeling is that people are lurking on different platforms depending on what they use regularly. I can honestly say I wont be using Fuwachat because I got Skype up and running. Maybe I will lurk in the Fuwachat sometimes but I doubt it. It collides with my use of Skype which I use for a lot of things expect chatting. Isn't it possible to maybe bring the three platforms together at a later date? Yes I know Teamspeak is much better if you are voicing in a huge group.

There’s an IRC as well but that’s been dying of late, maybe the Fuwachat could replace that.

 

At the end of the day I view “Fuwachat” as something you use while … visiting the Fuwa realms so to speak. Hanging with Fuwamembers while on Fuwa. Skype and TS are more like groups of friends getting together outside Fuwa, you meet on Fuwa and then you take your friendships elsewhere.

 

There’s more than 1 unofficial Skype group also, I’m a part of a small one which consists of past/present members of Fuwa.

2 Teamspeaks I believe, isn't the old one still used? I am in Ren's daily, and will be participating highly in the FuwaChat too. I see it as a "pop in while you're visiting the site" and not a "you have to use 24/7"

I was banned for 24hours but, actually it's just 5 minutes and banned 24 hours again and unbanned and REBANNED

 

Geezus, such autoritah.

 

Can I get an award for being double triple banned in less than 24hours ? That's quite the achievement imo.

 

Outside of my whining. I think overall mods should, maybe not soften the rules, it's good to follow the rules (and I deserved that last ban -maybe- , I had been warned), but don't ban out of the blue for small things just because part of the rules suggests it should ^^".

 

I was just having fun   

 

 

Edit: Oh, you could add some kind of message telling you why you get banned.

 

Oh and also we lose access to the shoutbox when banned, it's not just a mute kind of thing. I don't know if that's intentionnal.

I think one feature if possible that needs to be disabled is the 5 min afk program it makes it hard to keep an eye on chat and lurk if you want.
