Kosakyun Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Still rewatching Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood. Damn. This show doesn't get old. Quote
Yatsufusa Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Wakako-zake Holy shit this anime is hilarious when smoking a joint. Quote
Suzu Fanatic Posted September 20, 2015 Posted September 20, 2015 Finished Kakumeiki Valvrave. I'm... I'm not sure what to think, tbh. Quote
nohman Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 I finished Saraiya Goyou a couple days ago. Great show - well grounded story, nice art, good pacing, and plenty of nuanced characters. Nothing terribly exciting thematically, but the ending was poignant all the same. Â Watching Ore Monogatari right now. I don't think I've ever seen a show as cute as this. I can't stop smiling. Quote

nohman Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 I was on a huge roll with the Monogatari series getting all the way up to Bakemonogatari Second Season. I am on a break from the series as I saw Senjougahara cut her hair and I couldn't handle. Once I get over that, I will continue on my journey. Quote
nohman Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 Oh shit. WHOOOOOPS. I was thinking of the newest season of the Bakemonogatari seasons, heheh...  How is Ore Monogatari anyways? I planned to watched it once it finishes, but I don't want it to end with out an official deceleration of there being a couple. LiquidShu 1 Quote
Soulless Watcher Posted September 24, 2015 Posted September 24, 2015 I just finished binge watching/reading Gintama and now that the current season of anime is winding down my life, regarding anime, feels kinda empty. I poked a stick at DearS, than promptly used the stick to beat Heaven's Lost Property for stealing fucking everything from DearS.... than I used the bloody stick to beat DearS to death, cause it's a boring clumsy ass tale that didn't need to be told twice. What, Chobits? Never heard of it. Quote
cenric Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 Non Non Biyori and Hozuki No Reitetsu among others. Mostly watch comedy and other drama free shows these days Quote
sub-zer0 Posted September 25, 2015 Posted September 25, 2015 I finished season 2 of Sidonia no kishi, and it was just as amazing as season 1, the op is even more dynamic than the first one, though there was a lot of romance in this season, while season 1 was pure action and intensity, the story is still action packed and keeps you watching consistently. It is a really good anime and the only thing that made it so underrated is the animation style, everything else is just fantastic. I'm probably going to read the manga of this, I finished the anime the day the manga finished, but the last chapter probably won't show up the day it comes out since it takes some time to edit and translate the original chapter. Going to watch Mikakunin de Shinkoukei next, need something slower paced and funny for now,Sidonia no kishi was really intense. Quote
Suzu Fanatic Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Started watching Nisekoi - but I have a sinking feeling this is one of those shows that will refuse to offer closure. : / Quote
Deep Blue Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 gonna watch plastic memories, it looks good and the plot sounds really interesting so i'll give it a shot. Quote
Nosebleed Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Started watching Nisekoi - but I have a sinking feeling this is one of those shows that will refuse to offer closure. : /Sometimes I believe Nisekoi will have a conclusion, but then the author reminds everyone he's a troll and nothing will ever happen. jaxter0987 Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Recently finished Non Non Biyori Repeat and Trinity Seven and finished rewatching Mahjong Ball Z (Saki and Saki Achiga-Hen). As expected, Mahjong Ball Z still got me as hype as it did the first time I watched it. Going to be finishing up Working!!!, Fate/ Kaleid 2wei Herz and Charlotte soon.  NNBR was amazing. Trinity Seven was meh.  I'll likely rewatch Saki Zengoku-Hen soon, and marathon through the rest of Ore Monogatari, marathon Gakkou Gurashi, and marathon Durararax2!! Ten. In no particular order. I have a bunch of shows I plan on catching up on almost from a year ago... my On Hold list on MAL is ever growing. And maybe just maybe, I'll actually finish rewatching the shows I have on my currently watching list... Quote
nohman Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Been watching season 2 of Baby Steps the past couple of days. It's probably the most "sports" anime I've ever seen. Continues to be my favorite too, even more so than Chihayafuru. Quote
sub-zer0 Posted September 28, 2015 Posted September 28, 2015 Finished Mikakunin de Shinkoukei, it was a pretty slow paced rom com that was quite enjoyable, not much to say about it besides the fact that it was a rom-com and it was funny and relaxing to watch. I'm gonna start my marathon of Psycho-Pass, I have a feeling that this is gonna be some good stuff, the description looks really awesome, I wonder if its something like ghost in the shell or similar. Quote
Suzu Fanatic Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 Started watching Charlotte - looks like it has a lot of potential. But holy hell do I ever want to punch the MC in the face, srsly. Â The sister's pretty cute though~ Quote
Kosakyun Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 The sister's pretty cute though~ Â Yeah. She reminds me of ketchup. Quote

Schnarf Posted September 30, 2015 Posted September 30, 2015 just watched the latest ep. of gintama Quote
Suzu Fanatic Posted October 1, 2015 Posted October 1, 2015 Finished Charlotte. Â Had some interesting ideas, and was mostly enjoyable to watch. But in the end it was underwhelming. Â Making him remember something from a different timeline was a pretty forced way to get the ball rolling for the last half, and you can tell the show suffered for it. Though, I am glad they killed off his ability to travel back in time when they did, that shit gets old, ya know? And it's a cop-out that's been used too often in other series by Key. Â Not sure if the story should have been told over 24 episodes instead of 13 - or if the flaw lies in the writing itself, but something was definitely holding the show back from being something amazing. Â Would gladly read it if they turned it into a proper VN though~ Â guess I'll give it a 7/10? Quote

Nosebleed Posted October 2, 2015 Posted October 2, 2015 Im pretty sure Jun just needs more episodes to work with. Also it doesn't help that he used the first half of the series on irrelevant slice of life episodes. Quote
