jaxter0987 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Danshi Koukosei no Nichijou Nichijou SKET Dance Gintama  All are comedy gold in Anime. While there isn't exactly romance in Nichijou and Danshi Koukosei no Nichijou, there are enough mentions of it that I certainly wouldn't suggest it. Then again, a lot of comedies have some form of romance.  Kiniro Mosaic (Though I don't remember whether or not you could tolerate the Engrish. I think there was some mention of this earlier in the thread.)  Nyaruko both seasons  Hataraku Maou-Sama  GJ-bu Quote
Cali Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 Finished Hyouka last night.  I kinda hated it but i also think its one of the best animes i have seen. Kinda hard to describe.  The budget on that must have been huge though. Quote
Forythos Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I actualy started re-watching Hyouka yesterday as I recently downloaded the BDs. For some reason I remember having enjoyed it the first time, but don't remember much as to what went on with the plot. I'm really enjoying the eye candy one my living room's big screen though.  I'm almost done with season two of K-On!. Up to episode 22 before I fell asleep on the couch. One of my friends really psyched me about watching the movie. Mevvrynne Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 I just started watching NouCome since it finally got some proper subs and wow, its so freakin random but pretty hilarious xDÂ It's sooooo awkward to watch it's painful. Â But the OP has shown me that there will be many many many cute girls. Â Therefore, I WATCH!!! Quote

This. If i've pulled through Watamote i can pull through NouCoume. I'm only watching for the cute girls anyway.   While there isn't exactly romance in Nichijou and Danshi Koukosei no Nichijou, there are enough mentions of it that I certainly wouldn't suggest it. Then again, a lot of comedies have some form of romance. Even SKET Dance has some hint of romance, it's almost impossible to remove it, but there's a difference between focusing on romance and have bits of romance that are not really relevant to the plot and all those have only one or two characters that like each other but that's not even near the big picture of the whole show, that's why i suggeted them Quote
goldenguy43 Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 ive been watching when they cry and its actually pretty great so far,i love the characters and i like that they have so many creative story arcs Quote
Cali Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Finshed watching Yahari Ore no Seishun Love Comedy wa Machigatteiru aka My Teen Romantic Comedy. I think the  protagonist was pretty damn funny in his outlook on life and other people.  Quote

Horribly written, inconsistent plot, mediocre animation, and somewhat unlikable characters. I can't agree with that, i'm on episode 10 and hell i teared on this one, when a show makes me all emotional it deserves my praise. I'll agree the animation isn't what i like the best about it but i like the characters and the setting. Time to finish it off. Quote

i've watched Anohana and Angel Beats! twice.  you're probably going to end up screaming Menma Mitsuketa!!!!!!!!!!!!!  at least i did I watched both Anohana and Angel Beats on my own and cried buckets. Rewatched Angel Beats with my college's anime club last Spring and I'm going to be rewatching Anohana in the Spring, with the anime club as well. Looking forward to a room full of tears...  That's what i'm expecting, i'll start watching it tonight And tomorrow i will watch yet another depressing thing i've been putting off, Clannad. Oh man, you just want to be emotionally broken that badly huh. Watch Toradora and Sakurasou if you haven't already to continue this depressing spree (Though Toradora being depressing is mostly just my feelings towards my favorite character getting jack.) Quote

Nosebleed Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 I loved Angel Beats. A lot of people underrate it in my opinion. I don't think it's underrated, i think it's actually fairly rated, at least in websites like MAL it is. Quote

Mainly because it's not on your MAL, I have to recommend Naoki Urasawa's Monster. Â Not a huge amount of people have seen it, and it is something you just don't want to miss out on. Quote
