Tyrael Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Watching Nisekoi now it's really really good thanks Nosebleed for the recommendation ^^ Quote
sirjabberwock Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 I'm about a third of the way through Monster. I got about 20 episodes in and took a break to watch Durarara!! so I'm back to Monster now that I'm through with season 1 Quote
EldritchCherub Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Watching Shirobako at the moment. I assumed a show depicting a day in the anime industry would be boring but it's managed to hold my attention thus far. It's kind of hard to keep track of all the characters because of the large staff involved in creating the episodes for their show. The character interactions are quite nice. At times it also seems like some of the hurdles are overcome too easily, but they don't detract too much from the show. Quote

I have a couple friends watching it, but they never mention it, so I figured it wasn't that good. The first episode kinda bored me so I was afraid to continue it. Quote
EldritchCherub Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 the main focus is the girls Haven't really heard anyone talk about it at all. If as the viewer you don't become invested in their plight in the first few episodes then it won't make much sense to follow them along for the ride as they mingle and react to the staff's antics. It makes it easier for me to follow along with the plot because the focus was narrowed down on the girls. Though the staff is interesting and becomes part of some funny moments, watching the young generation mature and interact with those around them is what made me keep watching. Quote
FinalChaos Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Started watching Toaru kagaku no Railgun. Quote

Kosakyun Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 They grow up so fast... *sniff* I know that feeling. Anyway, finished Hanamonogatari. Fucking hell man. I really love this show. Looking forward to Tsukimonogatari. I think I'll melt when Kizumonogatari and Owarimonogatari are finally animated. Quote

Tyrael Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Yeah. Damn him. I even felt pity for him. I wonder how he survived. I guess he conned himself to life, huh? From what I've heard we'll get the explanation for it in Tsukimonogatari but we should just assume that he never really died considering he has admitted several times to not having any kind of power himself. Then again, he also told us to never trust anything that happens on screen as well if you can remember. Hmm... Quote

And how the heck is Tsukimonogatari related to all of this? Oh well. Will the dead doll tell us how he survived? Quote

She has the same voice actress as Mayushii from Steins;Gate so it was definitely fate Quote

Tyrael Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Well, considering they are prime waifu material it's not that surprising Although you might just be slightly more on the lewd side of things, eh? Quote
Nosebleed Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 Onodera also has the same voice actress as this Kansai-ben pantsu loving pervert (Hanazawa Kana is still a great voice actress regardless) Just wait for season 2 of Nisekoi, that's when the real best Onodera will show up. I'm glad you're enjoying Nisekoi, it's a fun show as i've said, the romance won't go anywhere but the overall ride is fun, I'd recommend you check out the manga if you don't mind reading. There's currently 152 chapters (Season one ended up chapter 50, season 2 will probably only go up to chapter 100). Quote
Kosakyun Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 I hope they get that School Festival Pageant. Quote
Nosebleed Posted December 26, 2014 Posted December 26, 2014 I hope they get that School Festival Pageant. Doubt it, that's way too far ahead, they most likely won't adapt the Yui arc (wouldn't make sense to adapt that arc without adapting all the major events that happened before) My guess is it'll end after Haru's major arc during the festival. Just a wild guess though. Quote

And here I was thinking shoujo shows progress at a snail's pace lol. Quote
