Chewy Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Still watching Hunter x Hunter. Goddamn action series getting me always. Omg where you at? Quote
Kosakyun Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Omg where you at? Â Episode 56. The part where Kurapika's planning to abduct that mind-reading girl with the big boobs. Quote

Kosakyun Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 the big boobs bit is unnecessary.... Â I fail to see why big boobs are unnecessary. Â Anyway, the series is going great. The Phantom Troupe is great. Hisoka, as always, is great. I can't wait for Greed Island. Quote

nohman Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 I'm wrapping up the last few episodes of KuroBasu season 2. I'm happy they dialed up the absurdity factor. A lot more fun that way. The few things I didn't like about season 1 were improved upon - namely, we got some character backstory and I started to care about other characters on Seirin beyond Kuroko and Kagami. There's something to be said about how minimal the screen time off the court is, which I've come to appreciate a little more than I initially did.  I'm also about 14 episodes deep into season 2 of Chihayafuru. Phenomenal show, heads and shoulders above the other sport/game anime I've seen. The cast is delightful, matches are bizarrely intense, and Chihaya's character development seems so organic and her struggle with her identity as a player is just so.... great. The only bad thing I can say about it is that it'll be over soon. I told myself I'd take it slow, but I just couldn't help myself. Quote

nohman Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Looking forward to season 3 of kurobasu? Â I'll definitely watch it, but I'll probably wait for it to conclude airing before I do. That depends on how it ends though. I'm on the last 3 episodes of S2, so I might just end up too hooked to wait. Quote
Tyrael Posted January 20, 2015 Posted January 20, 2015 Trinity Seven  it's as awesome as it is stupid  11/10 anime of the year Eclipsed 1 Quote
Tatsujin Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Watching Psycho-Pass II. Have to put up with Commie's shit interpretations and non-honorifics instead of Funimation god-awful way of lining the subtitles. Well, might as well finish this really quick.Edit - Is Parasyte-whatever a good anime to watch? Does it have dark fantasy theme like Psycho-Pass and Mardock Scramble? Quote

Tatsujin Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I like Psycho-Pass II. It's not as good as the first one but I still like it. I'm looking forward to the movie.Have you seen Mardock Scramble movies? Quote
Ezeefreak Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Started Nichijou... WTF is that?! ... I think I have to watch that very slowly to not harm my mind...  In the meantime I rewatch Sakurasou again (Mashiro... I totally fallen for her again ) and whatever the Anime Club select... Quote
Eclipsed Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 No Game No Life, up to Episode 9. The first 4 episodes were pretty 'ehh' for me since it was mostly infodumping about how the world and the games worked, but at least there were enough funny moments to keep me entertained~ Never separate Blank >.> Â Â Gotta love Sora & Shiro~ Â Steph is, unfortunately for her, the Michiru of this series (aka the character that gets picked on for humor). She has her moments, but for god sakes please tone down on the head bashing <3 Â Â ...Ouch. Series starts getting better/more interesting by episode 6 when they finally begin their quest for world domination. Or maybe I'm just a huge Jibril fan Ep. 9 was by far the most intriguing episode though.I'll admit I was a tad bit disappointed that the whole Sora-not-existing thing ended up being because it was from his game against Kurami, but it was a nice mind blower while it lasted xD Will finish the rest tomorrow~ Â Quote

TexasDice Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I have seen the first episode of Hajime No Ippo.  Sold. Quote
Kosakyun Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 I have seen the first episode of Hajime No Ippo.  Sold.  You gonna watch everything? Quote
TexasDice Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 You gonna watch everything? Probably in one sitting or until I collapse, yes. Quote
Kosakyun Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Do that with the manga. It's still ongoing, after all. Goodluck! Quote
Eclipsed Posted January 21, 2015 Posted January 21, 2015 Finished NGNL. Overall it took me a while to settle in (probably a sign I should slow down on the anime spamming >.>) but once I did this series was quite entertaining.  Random highlights Hey look, references! Kurisu <3  Sora and Shiro are always fascinating to watch when they are in thought-mode even if I don't understand half of what they are planning xD I'd like to see a future enemy pin the two against each other    Steph saves the day #Calculated. I was wondering where she was the whole time...  More of why Jibril is awesome 1. Cuz she's HILARIOUS.    2. and BADASS.  ~~~ Also started Tokyo Ravens, up to Episode 2I think I got softer over the years... Even though Hokuto only got a small amount of character development in these two episodes it was enough for me to shed some tears when she died ;-; edit: spoke too soon. Episode 3 makes me feel soo much better about what I said above~ Hotaku was Natsume's familiar aka Hotaku was Natsume the whole time d'aww . Quote

I felt so empty when season 2 ended and currently impatiently waiting for a third season (I know it's going to happen ;____; ) Quote
Tatsujin Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Read the manga for Chihayafuru. The ending of season two pissed me off. I haven't read the manga yet but I will just to find out how much of an idiot she is. Quote
nohman Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 Finished KuroBasu S2. Going to watch a few episodes each of Yowapeda and Ace of Diamond to figure out which I'm going to watch next. Also watched an episode of Nodame Cantabile and Natsuyuki Rendezvous. Not sure how I feel about the latter, but I can appreciate an older cast of characters. Quote
Eclipsed Posted January 22, 2015 Posted January 22, 2015 I've been looking for another cute slice-of-life comedy to watch on the side after finishing Non Non Biyori and it'll looks like I'll settle for Kiniro Mosaic cuz Nosebleed   Nice review btw. Quote
