Cythnar Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 Really liking Owari no Seraph. I can see how some people might try and make a connection to Attack on Titan with it, it does have some similarities, although to be honest it's not often you really find totally "fresh" ideas... Everything's pretty much been done. That said, I don't mind it. I might be less of a critic though, considering I have a fascination with vampires (not that retarded Twilight bs btw) and rampaging giants (Titans) just kinda seemed bland for me. I did watch AoT though, I loved the atmosphere it gave off. Anyway, I like the MC's reason for fighting. It's rather cliche and typical, but at the same time it gives off a good feel considering the circumstances so it kind of makes sense. Oh. And Shinoa. Need I say more? RinXD 1 Quote
sub-zer0 Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Finished Death Parade, it was an amazing anime, don't know what to watch next...I'm running out of stuff to watch besides some Rom-Com, and comedy, and I'm not in the mood to watch any of that...I'm really angry that there are all these animes out there, and I can't watch them because they haven't been subbed yet...fansubs groups can be slow sometimes...Going to watch SAO II, finally got subbed from someone besides horriblesubs, after this i'm really out of stuff to watch Quote
Abyssal Monkey Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 SAO 2 is meh after GGO Really? You are different than 70% of the people I know. They don't really appreciate the mindlessness of SAO, and they always look for the deep meaning and shit from shows. Still, I'm surprised you didn't like Mother's Rosario. While it wasn't the most intense arc, I still thought it was pretty good. Ceris 1 Quote
Deep Blue Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Watching black lagoon, really good anime so far I love all the characters. Fred the Barber 1 Quote
Kosakyun Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Watched Akame Ga Kill again. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH LOLLIPOP CHELSEA APPEARS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH Too bad, really. I liked Chelsea. It's kinda bad reliving the moment in the anime. Though it was more brutal in the manga. Quote
Tyrael Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Finally started watching Death Parade and all I can say is HOLY FUCK Quote
Stray Cat Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Finally started watching Death Parade and all I can say is HOLY FUCK Sadly the ending is bad IMO but it's great until the last 3 eps. Quote
LiquidShu Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Last few episodes of Tokyo Ghoul Root A where getting me so hyped and then Quote

RinXD Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Pretty sure that also describes the entire Tokyo Ghoul franchise Quote
Nosebleed Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 The manga's ending was pretty shitty too, even if it got a sequel I won't accept that kind of ending as something decent. Cythnar 1 Quote

RinXD Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 um the manga didnt end it started back up with a sequel Quote
Nosebleed Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Yeah... Took WTF off the deep end... Like, really? >_>Sometimes you just don't know what you're doing. The sequel is much more watered down as well, definitely lost a lot of the charm the initial manga had, it was much harder to get into for me, although it has been picking up lately. I question what went through the author's mind everyday... um the manga didnt end it started back up with a sequel The manga's ending was pretty shitty too, even if it got a sequel I won't accept that kind of ending as something decent. LiquidShu Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 My friend is in absolute love with Tokyo Ghoul and was just about to convince me to read the manga... Not anymore. Quote
RinXD Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Tokyo ghoul is like Akame ga kill had so much potential yet failed to deliver Quote
Cythnar Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 ^ That more or less explains it in a nutshell. Wasted potential. Quote
GetterEmperor Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Started watching Macross and God Mars. Also finished Tetsujin 28 which was pretty awesome. Giant Robo comes next. Quote
Tyrael Posted May 25, 2015 Posted May 25, 2015 Death parade finished Oh god this show... I felt many things after it ended but regret was not one of them. Ending might not have been perfect but it was satisfying for me at least. 9/10, contender for anime of the year for me Quote
Stray Cat Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 You know what's sad. You know what's really, really sad. You make a comedy anime, you do a spin-off episode with no characters from the show for no reason what-so-ever, and that spin-off episode is 10 times funnier than the previous 19 episodes of your show. That, ladies and gentleman, is To Love-Ru. I swear if it wasn't for the Black Cat references I'd have dropped this so long ago. All hail Girl of Blaze Magical Kyoko ~Flame~ Quote

Kenshin_sama Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 Wait till Momo shows up. She's the element that brings synergy to the rest of the cast and makes the harem aspects funner. Quote
Stray Cat Posted May 26, 2015 Posted May 26, 2015 No plot is fine if comedy is good, but if comedy is bad you've got nothing. I don't want humor, I just want to get to Darkness ASAP. Quote
