VN with "gameplay"

I have played a lot of VN in my life and I would like to test a new genre today,

 

If you noticed the "gameplay" it's because I don't want fights and stuff like that, I just want to walk around in the city and have something with skill points like : charisme, intelligence, strengh etc ...

 

So, if you know a VN like that, I'll be glad if you'd share it with me.

It has a sequel for the 3DS and Vita as well. It's called Virtue's Last Reward and is my favorite video game of all time: VNDB link

 

Another great VN with gameplay is Danganronpa. Its PSP version (originally JP-only) was translated to English. Just google "Project Zetsubou", it'll come right up. It's possible to find a prepatched version of the ISO on Fuwanovel.

 

It has a sequel: Super Danganronpa 2. It got out only in JP as well for the PSP, was never fully translated.

 

Both games were remade for the PS Vita and released in English this year.

It sounds like you basically want dating sims. There aren't many good ones translated to english, and most of those are Otome games (female protagonist, male love interests)

edit: Although VNDB excludes several dating sims on the premise that they aren't VN enough, I'm not sure which noteworthy ones are missing.

@Seiu: There's 2 categories of games that fit your description. The first category are sim games. Sim games involve the raising of stats to achieve a goal, whether it be raising youngsters (raising sims) or dating girls/guys (dating sims.) Little Witch Romanesque is a raising sim just released by JAST that involves skill points and zero fighting.

 

The second category are the adventure games which contain visual novel storytelling. Adventure games involve exploration, puzzles and a narrative so if you like exploring, then these games will probably deserve a look at. Technically not pure VNs, a substantial number of people consider them so. These games include 9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors; Phoenix Wright, Danganronpa, and Virtue's Last Reward.

Anyway, like Decay has said. There aren't that much translated dating sim, sadly. There is Lovely x Cation that is currently being translated, so you might want to keep an eye for that.

Though I heard there are quite a lot of dating sim in the OELVN's side, so maybe someone who is a lot more experienced in OELVN can answer your question -_-
