Flutterz Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 http://store.steampowered.com/sale/anime_sale Looks like pretty much all the anime bullshit on Steam is on sale until the 12th, so have at it! Quote
Flutterz Posted January 8, 2015 Author Posted January 8, 2015 >anime bullshit So elegantly put. What can I say? I have a way with words. Quote
Stray Cat Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 What can I say? I have a way with words. WHEN DID WE GET A HOLO EMOTE?!? I approve. Oh look, everything I bought at the winter sale for the same price. Quote

Lambda Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 I see how it is... the cheap pigeons staring me down again. The only thing stopping me is the fact that I don't have Steam, but that might not stop me for long enough this time... Guess I'll just debate buying the pigeons + another really cheap game (looking at Blazblue, maybe?), or preordering Eden... Quote
Lambda Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Blazeblue is very difficult just a fyi :| Not that, then. Do you have any games in the sale you'd recommend? Quote

Darklord Rooke Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Recettear is an interesting RPG where you play the item vendor in an RPG world, and I played Legend of Heroes on my PSP and rather enjoyed myself, although I never got around to finishing it. Quote

Lambda Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 Long Live the Queen is pretty fun for a while, as long as you don't mind a bit of trial and error. Planetarian, World End Economica and Analogue: A Hate Story are great VNs if you haven't read them already. Recettear is an interesting RPG where you play the item vendor in an RPG world, and I played Legend of Heroes on my PSP and rather enjoyed myself, although I never got around to finishing it. Will definitely look into Recettear and Legend of Heroes. They both look really interesting. Thanks!~ Quote
RinXD Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 only reason I said blaze blue was hard is because the combo's are not easy to master its on the difficulty level of DOA when it comes to fighting games Quote
Lambda Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 only reason I said blaze blue was hard is because the combo's are not easy to master its on the difficulty level of DOA when it comes to fighting games Only reason I was really interested was 'cause I heard the gameplay/the storyline were good and it's three bucks. But if it's gonna throw me in a pit of despair... I'm okay. Thanks. I'll begin looking at my RPG options. Quote
Kaiki Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 If you're going to get Recettear, you might as well just get the Carpe Fulgar collection (Chantelise, Recettear, and Fortune Summoners). Lambda 1 Quote
monkeysrumble Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 I'm happy that I get a second chance to buy world end economica and planetarion on sale. Didn't get a chance to pick them up on the holiday sale. Other then that this sort of makes me disappointed about the anime titles available on steam. Quote
Vemocleus Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Plenty of fun on this list. Loved Recettear and Fortune Summoners, also got Chantelise but haven't gotten around to it yet. Agarest is fun, even though I hate tactic RPGs. Cherry Tree High Comedy Club was a fun little game too. I especially love everything Ys. I played the first Ys game on the Sega Master System before I could even read, and the remake Ys 1 and 2 Chronicles+ is outstanding, as well as Ys Origin. I also just picked up Analogue: A hate story and it's sequel here. Hard to pass up the 2 of them for less than 5 bucks. ...Oh, and definitely got to pick up Sakura Spirit! What an excellent g- *BLAM* *Vemocleus has fallen victim to a sniper* Quote
Katatsumuri Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 My half-advertising jokey post aside, I am actually interested in some of the things shown to be on sale though. Gotta pick up WEE while It's cheap... *Vemocleus has fallen victim to a sniper* Quote
EldritchCherub Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Definitely a mixed bag here, but I might grab World End Economica. Hmm, should I buy this even though I haven't watched Spice & Wolf? Quote
Decay Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Funnily enough, apparently MangaGamer wasn't even approached by Valve and they had to pester them after the sale started to get involved. Are they really that easily forgotten, or does someone at Valve hold a grudge? (I think they're the only ones who are selling censored eroge currently) Quote
SilverLi Posted January 9, 2015 Posted January 9, 2015 Well I recommend Agarest if you want to grind forever. But this isn't every title Steam has to offer in the "anime" genre. I know they got Valkyria Chronicles. Of course a game with the anime tag isn't an anime for sale. Quote
