[Solved] Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo Installation difficulties

Hey everyone. So I recently downloaded Sharin no Kuni from this site, and when I run the .exe this is what happens.

My system is set to Japanese locale but it is still not working. I also uninstalled and deleted everything, then redownloaded, but get the same thing. 

 

I've downloaded over a dozen visual novels in the past from this site and others and have never had this happen, so I'm quite stumped.

 

Any help is appreciated.

Make sure you've stopped seeding the torrent and that the files are not set to read-only (select all files, right click, properties, uncheck read only)

This error is almost always caused by files being set to read-only

delete the save game files that are inside the "save" folder and try again, it did the same thing to me the first time i tried to play the game

btw enjoy one of the best vns out there

Saved data files.... Delete em!
