Embarassing moments with vns...

First of all this has been a very entertaining topic and reading these posts have made my night.

So awhile ago i was reading Grisaia No Kajitsu and right when one of Amane's H-scenes came on my sister and her friend came into my room, and since i had a wireless mouse i was on the other side of the room on my bed no where near my keyboard.

My sister gave me that "Really?" look and i think a traumatized her friend. Sad Face.

LOL. It's like a gag in an otaku-anime, but in real life.

Back when I first started playing VN's, my older sister saw me playing Saya no Uta and got curious. Didn't even know that VN's had H in them at the time. When I ran in to the first H-scene I was like wut? She was like "yeahh...so it like that in it." She played the game (seperately) up until the really nasty part (with the neighbor) and noped the fuck out. I think that ruined VN's for her.

So this was like a month ago or so. I was in a call with my friend and I don't remember what led him to do this but he started playing nekopara while we were in a call and he screenshared it. So you can imagine where this is going so we arrive at the h-scene with both cat girls and we are just laughing at the dialogue and then my parent come in the room while my screen shows naked cat girls  I think I closed skype fast enough but I'm not sure since it was weird my parents did not say anything and left. Of course my friend heard my parents come in my room and he was laughing so much at the fact that I might have been caught

Reading this topic has saved me from having to pay attention to a really boring French class, so thank you everyone who shared their stories.

That being said I'm afraid I don't have any embarrassing story myself. I'm always very open with my friends and family about reading VNs and any other weeabo stuff, and if anyone asks about it I have no problem to answer "Yes, some of these things have sex scenes in them".

...Though I wouldn't go as far as playing nikuges in public. I try to be careful with those.

Its funny. We just pick a random hentai and start watching. You know most hentai doesn't have a big production value so sometimes you hear really weird noises xD for example in one hentai we watched whenever a guy releases his cream it sounds like someone is farting or something and we couldn't stop laughing

Hahaha! If I did that with my friends we would probably be laughing through the whole thing. The only thing similar we've done is watching nukige H-scenes by sharing screen on Skype. That kind of stuff goes from porn to comedy in seconds; it's rarely awkward or embarrassing for us.

Alright so I didn't think I´d get a story to put in here but now I do have one actually. My childhood friend who has been in the military for a year finally came back to our hometown and of course he came over to hang out. Thing is, we haven't seen each other in ... Well a while and that meant he doesnt really know about me liking VNs. He knows I´ve liked anime, light novels and manga for ages but VNs is kind off on a different level.

Anyways, so he came over to my house, we walk into my room and I figure I´d show him some of my book that I´m writing cuz ... Well I´m excited about it and show everyone 

So my computer was in sleep mode, and I had completely forgotten about what was on it before. And so as I open it an H-Scene from SonoHanabira revolution - Rinagisa pops up, right in the middle of the act. (Why did I save it in the middle?  ) The look I got from him then was a mix of:  and 

 

After I took my time explaining what VNs are and why I love them, which I think he understood in the end. But I think his general opinion of me went down a couple of notches after that

That reminds me of the time my parents discovered that I watch hentai. I didn't expect them to come to my room in the middle of the night so I decided "why the hell not" and pulled up some random hentai and started "watching." Then my mom walked in, saw what I was watching, and just closed the door and walked away.

Needless to say, I had the most awkward conversation after that.

Yea I always lock my room when I ... "watch" hentai. (And play VNs. So because of that, my room is like, always locked )

At first I was like, "they know why I lock my room! its awkward!" but then again, the chance of them actually walking in and seeing it would be 10x worse

Unfortunately, my parents won't let me have a lock on my door because of some stupid reason. Probably because they'll know if I lock the door, I'm probably playing visual novels and they still don't understand what goes on in some of them. It'd be a total nightmare if one of them walked in on me playing Euphoria
