Ceris Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 My pc can't run neptunia 2 but ran neptnua 1 wtf... There's more cinematics in 2 than 1, and they run kinda bad on my computer as well. Quote
Kynbound Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 From what i read , the conquest ending is pretty much the only "missable" ending in rebirth 2. That was the main reason why i aimed at it first Quote
Cythnar Posted June 3, 2015 Posted June 3, 2015 If you guys are running more than one VGA, that might be the reason. When I start up HDN: Rebirth 2 without manually booting via VGA, it boots using my integrated VGA. Which is, well, bad for games, lol. You might want to check that out, because it fixed all my problems I had, namely skipping during cutscenes and lag. Quote
Kosakyun Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 If you guys want a challenge in Re;Birth 2, then don't download the DLC packs 'till you beat Delphinus. Â Also, screw the events in Chapter 8 for free processor units. I only got Blanc's last pair. W-What am I doing wrong, Neptune-sama? Quote

The game came with DLC for some reason, though it was just a couple weapons and accessories for Nepgear. I refuse to use anything DLC that strengthens my characters in games. Quote
Kosakyun Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 I have the same policy, at least, until I finish one playthrough. Â By the end of the game, you'll find everything to be mostly easier than R;B1. Unless you did Conquest End first. Quote
CruelN1N1 Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Yes, my pc is a potato laptop with intel i3 only, idk how i ran the first neptunia maybe some fix make it more smooth or i'll either buy a potato v.2 pc or buy it on vita Quote

Ceris Posted June 8, 2015 Posted June 8, 2015 Vita is the only way to go for Vita games. Rather pointless to own the handheld if you only one like 3 games for it though. I'm glad the games are on Steam now even though my own potato has crap frame rate in dungeons, since I can still enjoy them. Quote

Only games I have on the Vita are the Neptunia ones and Senran Kagura SV. Other than that, there's Ragnarok Ace Odyssey, PG4 (which I still have no plans of playing), and Disgaea 3. Basically, Japan games. : ^) Quote

Fred the Barber Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 I'm like 6 hours into P4G and I just can't be arsed with it. The fact that its dub really makes it harder. Those stupid American voices are obviously not what the game is supposed to sound like, I wouldn't mind if it was a good dub like HDN but it's barely above average. Â What in the world are you talking about? The P4G dub is very good. The HDN dub, on the other hand, was so horrifying that I had to switch to Japanese - the only time I've ever done that for any game available with dual audio. Â In particular, I remember being absolutely horrified when I heard Naoto's Japanese voice in a Person 4 Dancing All Night trailer - it can only be described as unlistenable. Her English voice is vastly superior. Quote
Ceris Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 You must not play JRPG's much if you only have a low end Pc? I have nearly every one on the Xbox360 (i'm a console gamer normally), but not, I don't play JRPGs all that much, as I haven't even played half my collection. A problem with this port is, you can't change the settings very well, so you're stuck with settings that your computer might not be able to handle. I can play newer games, like PSO2 (which I play almost all the time) on lowest settings perfectly, and medium settings with slight framerate loss, but Neptunia's framerate is atrocious in some dungeons. Helvetica Standard Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 You good sirs are all...PERFECTLY HEARTLESS! You mention Conquest ending like it's nothing and without batting an eyelid!?  THAT ENDING DESTROYED ME! IT'S VICIOUS, IT'S EVIL, IT'S PURE HATRED! WTF, COMPILE HEART!?  Ahem.. Novel21 Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 How is Hyperdimension Nepturn Games? I might give it a try on my PS Vita Quote

B0X0R Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 If I wanted to start playing a Neptunia game for the first time, which one would you recommend? Quote
SakashimA Posted June 10, 2015 Posted June 10, 2015 Started Chapter 3, most of time I select a dungeon to Stella run through and go away. Â Settled to go after Conquest End. Â Â If I wanted to start playing a Neptunia game for the first time, which one would you recommend? I would recommend playing Re;Birth1 first, it give some explanations about the Neptunia Game Kyoukai enviroment. Â But I have played only the Hyperdimension Re;Birth series, so my opinion may be biased. Quote

The Re;Birth 1 story isn't accurate to the original nor is Mk2 accurate to Re;Birth 2. The series only formed a narrative retroactively and bear in mind Victory literally has alternative dimensions from the past so really the canon is bad. That's including both manga series and the anime. Just go with whatever you have because honestly its not designed to be long standing. I'd be more concerned with gameplay in which Re;Birth 1 and 2 aren't hugely different really. Quote

THE PAIN OF THE CONQUEST END! Don't read this if you don't want to spoil yourselves.  Not only were the battles hard, but the very act of hunting down your fellow goddesses was hell! Hell, I say! HELL! HOLY GOD COMPILE HEART WHY THE HECK DID YOU PUT THAT ENDING IN MY MOE GAME!? This is what happens when you don't make Neptune the main character. Though Nepgear is very lovable. But holy god, whenever you hear the stab, it's like it's stabbing through you too. Like, holy god. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA The pain of going through that horrific ending cannot be remedied by Gehaburn! I loved the battles, but holy shit man. I did not want to kill them. I did not want to kill the CPUs and CPU Candidates!  AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH UNI AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH ROM AAAAAAAAAAAAH RAM AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAJSDSKFDSFJDSEWRWEORLDSFDSFDSFIDSFDSDF  AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA---------  Finally... Stray Cat Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Whelp I'm recharged so I've started Re;Birth 2.  What should I be aware of? Quote
SakashimA Posted June 18, 2015 Posted June 18, 2015 Be aware of a certain Underling, a certain Stella's Dungeon and a certain Conquest Ending that breaks hearts and can be actually lost. Quote
