Snowtsuku Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Symphonic Rain is supposed to be very good according to some here, but from the synopsis it just sounds more like a romance VN about music..? Is it really so good? The synopsis presents the game as your typical romance VN. Everything changes when you play it though. Quote
havoc Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 just finished downloading most of them. I believe i downloaded nearly all the vn's from this list except those i already have altough some i still downloaded because i have had some trouble with the origional. Still downloading nearly 30 vn's in less than 5 hours download time is not bad, gotta love th broadband connection. Quote
Funyarinpa Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 Downloading F/SN and F/Hollow Ataraxia since I don't have them yet,I wonder if keeping the torrents is good enough or do you have to actually download the VN before the links are taken down If you keep only the .torrent files, you'll be at the mercy of who seeds the VN's. Kat Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Thanks a bunch! Just finished getting all the torrents. Will play... later.. Quote
grim_tales1 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 I got Cross Channel, Sekien and Utawarerumono, I hope I'll enjoy them. Quote
sarkasmus Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 I managed to finish downloading every single VN on this site yesterday. Quote
XReaper Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 don´t really get the whole panicking thing, cause the torrents available here on fuwa are almost all somehow older games and therefore should´ve been played through already by everyone. Quote
AmamiRiku Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Welp, my sincere apologies to everyone show broadband I am going to be hogging, namely, my family, cuz Ive got a shit ton to torrent now Quote
grim_tales1 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Are there any other mystery/twisty VNs (maybe with dark themes) that are worth getting? I downloaded: Cross Channel. Utawarerumono. and Sekien no Inganock Quote
AmamiRiku Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 Just wondering, this is probably the most stupid question in the history of stupid questions, but is downloading Vns that are unlicensed in your country and untranslated by a proper organisation (ie mangagamer or jast) illegal? Quote

Pirating is usually more or less illegal. It's not something that is easy to enforce however. Licensing probably does not affect anything. Quote

Utawarerumono. and Sekien no Inganock Sharnoth is in the same series as Inganock. Umineko is probably the best mystery VN out there. I would definitely get that one as well if you're looking for Mystery/Twisty. Killer Queen seems like it might be interesting in that department, though I haven't played it. I've heard Muv-Luv gets absolutely insane once you get to Alternative, so you would do well to pick that up. Just remember, you need Muv-Luv and Muv-Luv Alternative to get the full series. Actually, with Umineko you need Umineko and Umineko Chiru as well. Just pointing that out. Get the Umitweak PS3 patch if you can, Fuwa has it both standard and prepatched. grim_tales1 1 Quote

Do you really need to play Hirugashi (sp?) - I have a demo - before Umineko? I tried downloading Umineko Chiru but couldnt get it to work Killer Queen has an interesting premise but was dull IMO sadly, and not as good as it could have been Quote

If you can't get Chiru to work, please ask the people on the support forums. grim_tales1 1 Quote
XReaper Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 killer queen was a huge disappointment in my eyes, not that i expected something with great dept or stuff, just....i dont know...disappointing in the end Quote
ShoBeck Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Has anyone tried out Phenomeno? It looks interesting but since my laptop has VERY limited memory, i don't know if it's worth the download. Thoughts? Quote

Thoughts? I liked it, it's definitely supposed to be an advertisement for the light novels but it's still worth playing if you enjoy horror / mystery games. Quote

Decay Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Personally I'm really fond of the PS3 art. And the Chiru version for some reason was less buggy than the question arcs. It should be noted that the Fuwa torrents of the graphically overhauled Umineko games were of an older version of said graphics patch. So if you're going with those versions, you'll still want to download and install the latest version of the patches. Quote
