The whole thing with the doctor is that he doesn't really fight that's why he has the sonic screwdriver not a weapon. Although from an otaku's point of view it is pretty amazing I just don`t like that the first thing he does is fight. Also what are the chances that he found the one group of English thugs in Japan.
