Henrique Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Hello everybody, my name is Henrique, is a pleasure to be here at Fuwa. Despite knowing the VN for a long time, so I decided to play because I am now studying the Japanese language. Then I noticed that the VN in Portuguese is practically zero. As already participated in translation teams games SNES, PS 1/2 and PC, I would also translate into Portuguese some VN (and also improve my English xD). I hope to be a friend of many here. Sorry if you have any errors, translated by Google Translate. はじめまして! Em Portugues Ola pessoal, me chamo Henrique, é um prazer estar aqui no Fuwa. Apesar de conhecer as VN a bastante tempo, so agora resolvi jogar porque estou estudando o idioma japonês. Então percebi que as VN no em portugues é praticamente nula. Como ja participei de grupos de tradução de jogos de SNES, PS 1/2 e PC, gostaria de traduzir tambem para o portugues algumas VN (e melhorar o meu ingles tambem xD). Espero ser amigo de muitos aqui. Desculpa se tiver algum erro, traduzi pelo Google Translate. はじめまして ! Quote

Well, hope you have a great time here I also have a problem with Kana. My first and favorite VN is Kanon, despite being a lot of talk and little action. It was one of my first animes I watched, then scored enough. It is also the one I'm trying to translate. Hey there, Welcome to Fuwanovel!! If you have any questions or anything let us know. Guest Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 welcome henrique what games did u translate on PS1/2, snes & PC? Quote
Sieg Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Sup dude. Judging from your name and your portuguese, I'm guessing you're a fellow brazillian. I've got many questions, but for now: 1. What are the VN you've already played? (not all of them, just from the top of your head) 2. You're translating VN into portuguese? How can I say this.. Rarely there is a person that likes (or will come to like) VN's and doesn't already understand english to a certain degree. It may sound like prejudice, but that just how it is given public education in most portuguese speaking countries (not just portuguese ones, but them as well). If, even so, you CAN find a "market" or "comunity" for your hard work, I'd be willing to help. Quote
InvertMouse Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Welcome to the forum! Seems like we're getting a lot of new friends recently . Quote
alden_0023 Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Hello and welcome! I think many people who are interested in VN want to learn japanese due to the limited number of translated VNs.. I think it is good having that intention of translating VNs.. Sadly, I also do not know Portugese, so I don't think I'd be able to read any Vn you'd be translating in the future.. Also, I like your avatar!.. She looks really cute! (I think I'm starting t become a lolicon due to VNs.. lol).. Who is she? ^^ Enjoy your stay here! Hope we can get along ^^ Quote
Daeyamati Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Hey there, welcome to the forums! You'll fit right in with everyone else Quote
meru Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Welcome to the forums! Good luck with the translation.. maybe there are some other Portuguese speakers around the forums who can help~ Quote
Henrique Posted March 26, 2013 Author Posted March 26, 2013 @Kotomi - Thank you very much. @Aaeru - Most are soccer games, Pro Evolution Soccer for example. And some RPG, How Terranigma for example. And a few unfinished projects. @Tief Blau - Thank you! @Sieg - Yes I'm Brazilian. 1. Only VN developed by Key. Air, Clannad and Kanon. 2. Good Question. Well, English is obligatory in Brazilian schools, however I went to a subsidiary of a Spanish private school here in Brazil, so too was taught Spanish, which became my preference. But I can well understand phrases in English, but already forming them is another story ... I do not know the rules of the English language, may seem strange but it is true. But as I said earlier, I want to improve my English, because the material is scarce in Japanese Portuguese. @InvertMouse - Haha, this is good! @alden_0023 - Who knows in the future you do not learn Portuguese. I guess nobody cares much for him. ;)/>/> As for the avatar I fell in love it! So much so that I put on my motocycle helmet. She is Youmu Konpaku. Hugs. @Daeyamati - Thanks, I really hope I make friends with everyone here. @meru - Thank you! Quote

Well, I'm really bad with languages so I am not quite sure if I can learn, but yeah, maybe if the need arises, I'll be studyng Portugese ^^ Ohhh.. She's from touhou.. I though she was from an anime (got really excited ^^) too bad.. Quote

Haven't got my way with Kanon and Air yet, but eventually.. Aanyways, keep an eye out for Metaler, he's from "Pátria Amada" (Beloved Country) as well xD If you begin translating some interesting VN to portuguese let me know, should be a good training. I can also give suggestios as to which one, preferably something you've already played. Although I'd hold on doing something as extensive as Clannad on a first time, so do take some suggestions trough the forums, there are many spetacular VN you haven't played yet =D Quote
Colorfulight Posted March 26, 2013 Posted March 26, 2013 Hi, I see your avatar, Are you a Touhou fan? =) Are you play Touhou Hisoutensoku, PoFV,...? =) And you are Translator... yay, I love translator and translation =) Quote
Henrique Posted March 27, 2013 Author Posted March 27, 2013 @Sieg - Metaler, I'm talking to him now. @Kisaragi Mio - I'm not a big fan but I like. Quote
Metaler Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 Um pouco atrasado, mas bem vindo ao fórum, jovem! O pessoal aqui é gente boa, você vai curtir bastante. A little late, but welcome to the forums, dude! The folks here are a nice bunch, so I'm sure you'll enjoy it here! Quote
