because she was and english lady in her pervious life of course, how could you not see that?

its funny how she refers to herslef as a lady, despite being the most obnoxious arrogant control freak in the entire game

Ahahaha. When in chapter 2 during that voting section where Rise is explaining a mnemonic device for remembering that in the  Maria Hall, the pentagon building, the Lily's were on the Left, and the Roses were on the Right, the first thing that popped into my head was "that doesn't work in Japanese".  I wonder how she actually explains it in Japanese.  Stuff like this were you know certain idiosyncrasies of a language and translation (in this case L and R sounds are usually interchangable/homophonic) bother me so much.  Its like when in the DxD manga, the scannalator failed to translate what was probably "mondai" [problem, puzzle, question] as puzzle instead of trouble, so the sentence came out "you will puzzle her" instead of "you will trouble her".  I know its probably limited to just me, but I felt the need to comment on it.

Also, that president must seriously be a ditz.  Even her aide was like "what the hell are you doing!?" yet was powerless to stop her.

I'm incredibly bored atm, so I'm probably going to pick out little things that bother me and keep posting them.  I swear it's not to raise my post count.

wut. really. ritsuko's conflict is the same as

ruriko's? how stale.

what really bugs me about that dilemma is that we're led to believe that if it wasnt for masaya then ritsuko would be

forced into an arranged marriage.

but in ayaka's route, ayaka mentions

that ritsuko had a fiance for an arranged marriage but then she decided to break it off. so its a situation that gets resolved with or without Masaya's help.

also @TexasDice im an ass man. so when i read that i thought "YOURE WRONG!!! Majikoi didnt have enough anal moments."

I actually laughed out loud when that happend. The last time I laughed at such contrivance, was at the end of Nekopara.

I knew we couldn't be friends. Let's fite! ( ง͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ง

I just played through Ayaka's route and am currently going through Rise's route (planning on doing Chiho last), here are my thoughts so far......

Holy shit this is good! the story is pretty well told and I loved the strife the characters go through in the common route (this may because this is my first "boy in an all-girls school" vn). I've yet to find a character that I didn't like and even if I did have issues with them they were resolved once their little arcs were resolved. not going to lie, this could well become my new favourite vn.

Ayaka's route was wonderful, I was surprised to find that she'd become my new favourite heroine in the game. and god-damn, her ending hit me in the feels. it wasn't really heartbreaking, it was just very saddening.

The problem I'm having with PE is what I imagine is similar to others (I can't be arsed reading through 18 pages of opinions right now), the fact that there is only four routes is annoying as hell. WHERE THE HELL IS RURIKO'S ROUTE!? it's not as if the game was starved for good side characters either, there are plenty here so just four heroines is quite insubstantial. this isn't even the whole "I just wanted more" argument, there NEEDED to be more. adding to that, I have no real incentive to go on Ritsuko's route because she had so little to do in the common route, which sucks given that every other potential heroine gets so much more development.

Overall, I'm loving this, can't wait to finish it!

@nimbus good to hear you are enjoying Princess Evangile enough to consider it a potential favorite.

Indeed, the 'only 4 heroines despite being tons of potential for other side characters' is probably one of my biggest gripes with this VN.

Indeed, and the fact that there is a fandisc doesn't make up for it. a fandisc should expand on what has already been set, not make up for missing content.

That, and it hasn't been translated yet. speaking of which, does anyone know if there are any plans to translate it?

What kind of hours are people putting into this?

I've more or less been playing all day, everyday since i got it (I usually ply vn's for a couple of hours every night). if face i've been playing so much that I'm having to really force myself to stop so that I can work on my Uni assignment.

@Dice & mitch (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

@Nimbus Princess Evangile is long. Decay said it neared Grisaia no Kajitsu levels in terms of length(?).

I also spend only a couple hours a day to read; so far it takes me almost a week per route.

Im done with it. total hours i put in it was probably 10-20 with at least 5 hours a day when it first came out. i skipped some stuff, like when they were talking about what they were going to do to win votes for the culture festival and the athletics festival, cause once youve heard one you pretty heard them all. also skipped a bit in chiho route when

she gets a call from Masaya's dad and gets kidnapped. i love chiho and to read something bad happening to her was too much.
