Finished Rutsuko's route the other day, here are my thoughts......

Fantastic. Ritsuko herself was rather loveable and I couldn't find any faults in character. that being said, I felt she could've held out a little more when Masaya got kidnapped (in other words, she should've had a little more faith that he would come back for her). The whole arranged marriage thing was spoiled for me because I did Ayaka's route first so that would be the biggest fault of the route.

What issues did you guys have with Ritsuko's route? I'm honestly having a hard time thinking of any.

I should also point out that I am starting to find the music quite repetitive (thanks a bunch Fred, now I can't stop thinking about it!).

Part way through Chiho's route now, should finish it over the next day or two.

about masaya being

kidnapped, she didnt know what kind of situation he was in. for all she knew he couldve been in a hole tied up with no way out. youre right about the arranged marriage thing. as i said before, in ayaka's route it gets resolved without masaya's help. although you could argue that the headmistress was getting desperate after knowing that ritsuko was in love with masaya. i guess the biggest fault of the vn was the whole kidnapping plot. i wish they just had masaya try to gain the headmistress's approval. i wouldve liked some good character interactions between masaya and the headmistress. where maybe she starts to see that masaya isnt a bad buy and its unfair the way she treats. she could still be against reform but not against masaya. it would be nice.

but it was still a nice route none the less.

um, did any of you guys notice with Chiho's route.......

They skip Chant de Noel?

I get that people complain a bit about how the routes are kinda repetitive but wouldn't the Temps de Confession thing be a big deal in all the routes? I don't get why they just skipped it for Chiho.

Both of them are from "outside", so they probably just didn't care.

I still think it would've made sense to use it, after all...

On a couple of occasions they talk about how it is the White Lilly Societies last chance for second term votes and given the whole premise of it it just seems lazy to leave it out. It's almost as it the developers expected you to do the other heroines before Chiho and say "look guys, we all know how this goes so lets just move on".

I still don't understand the problem and think it was fine.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not mad, just a little confused.

cant wait for you to finish Chiho's route, and see if induced as much rage for you as it did for most of us.

...................... I'm going to regret seeing this post aren't I?

I just finished three of the four routes (Ritsuko -> Chiho -> Ayaka) Still playing Rise's route

and I must say that out of all the routes I've played, I really liked:

1. Ritsuko

2. Ayaka

3. Chiho

Chiho's route is kinda... well it was ok but my heart almost stopped when

she was kidnapped by Mayasa's father and be sold to prostitution, 'cept that of course our overly manly protag saves the day

Ayaka's route is very dramatic (I liked it very much,

Demmit Headmistress! You should've suffered moar! >

:D

)

Ritsuko's route is just.... HHNNNNNNNGGGGG! Very cute, and they actually got married! Not officially but still.

Hoping to finish Rise's route by today!

thanks, yeah it was very awful -.-.. I didn't like it when Rise was butting in in her route when she has one of her own lol. Well Chiho did too but it wasn't annoying and it was to the point where you want Masaya to end up with Chiho

Well no but Rise was actually just being a betch in Chiho's route, This isn't my first time playing a route that has a rival heroine thank you very much.

But well that may sound like that from your POV. I don't have any problem with Rise or Chiho or their strained relationship, rather they make the story very interesting. Just didn't like the part where Masaya was very indecisive -.-.. (Yet he was very decisive in Ritsuko's route, WHAT ART THOU HAPPENED TO THEE!?)
Just watching (or rather, reading) it makes it very painful for me

the chiho and rise bits in chiho's route were pretty funny though, in a sort of light hearted way. i liked how they handled chiho's response to masaya and rise getting closer together in rise's route. it was such a raw experience that was just heart breaking but it was handled well, i think.

Yeah I find it kinda funny too but considering how Chiho was in Rise's route. It was a bit underwhelming, but still refreshing to see (Less drama, Two girls fairly fighting for her man)

But still, Masaya in Chiho's route.. ARRGGH! I liked how he was very confident in any other route (not so much in Rise's) but kinda wimpy in Chiho's (The athletic festival was cool tho. It takes balls to do that kind of thing even if he lost)

well she is his best friend. its hard to go from someone whos been my friend my whole life to girlfriend. the closest comparison is like looking at your sister as a possible girlfriend, with less guilt obviously........... and incest.............. and having your own father be your father-in-law.

Finished Chiho's route last night. Here are my thoughts on it.....

Whilst this is my least favourite route of PE I still enjoyed it. The rivalry between Chiho and Rise was well written and in my mind lasted only as long as it needed to, that being said I would've liked a little more time dedicated to Chiho in the route.

I didn't feel much sympathy for Masaya and Chiho during the whole kidnapping part. I mean, they spent the whole vn talking about what a cunning weasel Masaya's father is and how desperate he has become yet they let him talk (in other words they let him do the one thing they didn't want him to do).

I think the route could've been improved had it taken a different approach. for example; when Masaya and Chiho start having sex Masaya seems to want it a lot more thn Chiho, they could've used this to maybe make a route bout Chiho thinking Masaya sees her as a sex object or something like that (this could've complemented the aspect where they still somewhat see each other as childhood friends rather than lovers). but maybe I'm reading too much into it.

So overall, good route, but somewhat lacklustre in comparison to the others.

You... I like how you think :3.

Well now that you mention it, you're right. I also had a bestfriend (girl) which I see as only a friend who's special, nothing more. But she wants to take it to the next level so I kinda understand what you meant. Masaya had known Chiho all his life and now their relationship has taken a drastic turn. But still, I like your example tho. Incest.. less guilt... i leik
