Grisaia through Wine

So I'm running grisaia on a mac through wine/winebottler and I've never really been able to navigate wine to find out where exactly it had been saved to, so I either had to keep it running at all times and just turn off the BGM and un-fullscreen it when I was done, OR if I happened to close out of it I had to run the english patch installation again solely so I could choose "run game" at the end of it.

Anyway, after a while of tinkering around with it, I finally found where it was hiding and since there were so many folders from installing it so many times (is what is seemed like to me, but seeing as only one contained any grisaia files, that probably wasn't very likely), I decided to clean it up a little. I didn't delete anything, rather, I just renamed the com.yourapp folder to "the good one" so I could find it more easily. Shortsighted as I am, I wasn't thinking that that folder (which contained drive c) wouldn't be reachable anymore. I could still run Grisaia from that folder, but it couldn't access my old save files, and the text was fucked up again. Worse still, it wouldn't let me undo the name change and I have no idea which exact numbers it wanted.

Anyway, I eventually decided to just scrap my copy and skip through the routes I'd read to get my save data back, and I'm currently reinstalling it now, but a.) I'm not sure if it will work now or if I'll have to completely reinstall wine as well, and b.) for future reference, it would be helpful to know any advice for dealing with all the folders in wine.
